I’m not in my fucking basement and nor do I sit there all of the time. Do you really want to go to a game with overpriced food and drinks, plus parking and tickets to see this team play?

No thanks. Why bother spending hours of my time and hard dollars to see something I can see on TV or listen to on the radio? The product on the field is mediocre this year. I went to one game and wanted to go to more, but they never improved.

It makes no sense to make a move at the deadline. They can’t score runs consistently so it doesn’t make sense to go get pitching.

It would match the trade from last year except the reliever is hurt and the infielder is healthy.

I thought there would be a chance he would join the front office if they kept losing, but not as quick as Riordan suggested. It would have been an end of the year thing. Walking it back like a liar.

I think Riordan is full of shit. I’d put a TLR firing at a 5% chance of happening and a move upstairs at a 20% chance of happening.

The games before the all star break are their opportunity to get back in this thing. It’s either they okay mediocre and lose the series or play .500 or they win each series. They need to play well to have a chance.
