  1. QUOTE(whitesoxfan13 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) So was it intentional or not? I think the diahrea that Murcie had was accidental.
  2. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 12:25 PM) Good for you. Glad you're happy for me. I'll sleep good tonight now.
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 12:21 PM) And what for..? Some silly retaliation. Heaven for bid the Sox take the high road. Heaven forbid the Umps let the game be played. I'm cool with this happening, it shows Mark willl put his crap aside for the team.
  4. Vizcaino bites, I say we use him to hit another guy before he gives up a million runs.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 11:28 AM) 3rd viagra joke. But I'm actually curious. It would make some sense...in a way...maybe. There could be something in there that tests like 'roids. Heck, I'm no chemist. Maybe he should switch to Cialis to see if he still tests positive.
  6. Does Viagra have some sort of roid in it? Kind of a serious question here.
  7. QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 06:21 AM) 14.5 Games Up I'm still expecting the Royals to make a run for us.
  8. QUOTE(winodj @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) I lived for ten days off friends handouts and Ramen and mustard. I sent him 25 dollars to help out. Damn good friend ya are! $25 and a smart plan can keep him eating for a decent amount of time. Lots of starch to fill the belly up, and some canned veggies to maintain vitamins.
  9. Word had it that during the inspection, or sometime where they had to be standing around naked (again...this is what I had heard...I know nothing about military life, and even less about military life circa Viet Nam era) he supposedly got himself a big ol' boner rolling, and when the drill seargent (or whoever) got to him, he was crying saying that it always happened when he got around other men. Again...a story I had heard years ago, no proof of fact, can't even remember who told me the tale. Oh...and I never knew he was gay. That could explain his ability to do a video with Kate Peterson and NOT have drool all over the place.
  10. Anybody ever hear the one about how Iggy Pop got out of having to serve? Never was sure if it was rumour or truth.
  11. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) I just watched John Woo's "Hard Boiled" (1992). Holy f***ing s***. Great friggin' flick! MY fave of Woo's stuff though is Bullet In The Head. If you haven't seen that one yet, track it down. I liked Hitch, and found James to be really good in it. He really needs more screen time, and it could have taken the film to a higher rank. But there is a good chemistry between Smith and James. Got to see Wedding Crashers last week. Anybody else think we have just been given the next "great quote" movie? Not since Caddyshack have a I seen a movie with soooo many great quotes! I have also been getting REALLY sick of Vince Vaughn, as he plays teh exact same character in every film, but this time it seems like the writers knew he was their guy, and they tailored everything to fit him. By far the best thing he will probably ever be in, in the comedy style. I'm still trying to figure out Fantastic 4. What the heck was that all about? Was the only real reason Doc Doom and the 4 fought over Sue??? That was all I could come up with. I'm pretty sure after seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that Depp might just be one of the most versitile actors working today. He was always a personal fave, but this just sealed it for me. I was expecting to HATE him in it, as he was annoying in the commercials, but he actually worked out great in it, IMO. Not once did I picture him as any of his other roles. And before somebody else wanders along stating how he modeled the role after Jackson, please offer proof. I never saw him say that he did, and he is now on record as to insisting that he did NOT model it after him. He also wasn't doing a Manson impersonation. Manson was Burton's first choice.
  12. I thought that basically all of the MLB was banging his wife. As for Morgan being racist, he and Miller seem to get along fine, and I am not so sure there is a whiter man out there than Miller.
  13. I'm guessing somebody is checking to see if she was in a car seat? Hate to say it, but if she was in one, there is no way she could have been ejected.
  14. From as near as I can figure, these were some of the hits in Russia during the 80's. I can't read the language, so I have no idea. But 15 pages of fun 80's video's, many of which I have never even heard of before! Oh, what did we miss here in the US??? http://www.disco80.ru/index.php?an=video_cl80&page=1
  15. Went to the drive-in last night. Saw Fantastic 4 and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. At the end of the movies I felt that I enjoyed F4 the most. This morning I awake, finding myself really disappointed in retrospect about F4, and thinking I may have really enjoyed Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. Heck, Depp was much more enjoyable in that movie than I was expecting him to be. Granted, the guy is one of my faves, but he seemed so damned annoying in the commercials. But I actually really liked his character. F4, I just have no idea what that was all about.
  16. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) were you on a grassy knoll or something willie? No, he just said Barbra was on the boat. Oh...I thought you said "Gassy Troll"...I'm sorry...
  17. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) You mean Steve Vai? Yeah...I was being a little (very little) silly.
  18. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 02:18 PM) Just be thankful there are things you don't know about Uncle Milty. Oh, I know MUCH about Berle. Remember, along with all this stuff, I am an avid collector of OTR (Old Time Radio). Not too much time passes before I hear a Milton show in my weeks. I just couldn't find a funny joke for all three of the people mentioned.
  19. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) The thread has gone off into a tangent so I'm just going with the flow I didn't see his name but he is a legend in his own right: http://www.yngwie.org/ I think you mean "a legend in his own MIND". Wasn't he supposed to desicrate somebodies soul not too long ago? I wonder how that turned out for him. We always just called him "Wingy". HE is to me what you folks are saying is Eddie. Wingy couldn't right a decent song to save his life. Alcatrazz actually became a decent band after he left, and they replaced him with that guy Vai.
  20. Which one of the granddaughters is that hanging over the edge puking and holding a bottle of Jack? man...another stupid post I need to edit. I need to get some help on this s***. :headshake

    Help me out

    HEY PEOPLE!!! I ASKED A QUESTION!!! Sorry...a little antsy for the 4:00 school bell to ring. Though it does scare me as there is some 6th grade kid who likes to pick on me on the bus. But still, cookies await at home. how sad am I? I have to edit my silly pointless post to actually make sense.
  22. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 01:43 PM) A series of small, seemingly unconnected decisions, suddenly collide in some mad scientist choas experiment, and I'm so sad and confused. See, that's what happens when you PM me. This is why nobody does it, it leads to bad things. Hope whatever is going on, you get past it.
  23. I bet the kid could kick Luke Skywalkers ass even WITH the blast shield down! Jedi my ass!!!
  24. Never heard of her, but yeah, hang in there! Is she pretty popular in the Country circles?
