  1. I stopped that in April
  2. Ya just knew as soon as Grifol pinch hit Grandal, and Gordo said it was a good move, that Grandal’s defense was going to blow the game didn’t you? I know you did because if you still on this thread you’re a real Sox fan
  3. Jeffrey Dahmer would disagree
  4. Bummer got the devil’s ERA?
  5. I blame Dairy Queen. They made this guy actually believe he is in the same class as Bryce Harper
  6. I don’t see that as a problem. Not getting anything for players with actual trade value like Gio would be a massive fail in my book.
  7. Huh? These are new quotes from TA’s interview with the author. here’s another new and deluded statement from TA: “That next year, [the video game] The Show came out, and Fernando Tatis was on there flipping his bat,” Anderson recalled. “I found that weird because it was like, ‘Uhh, y’all stole the sauce!’ “ dude actually believes he invented the bat flip. Maybe he should pay Joey Bats royalties
  8. Ozzie Guillen had a higher career WAR through age 30 than TA, yet he thinks he’s the best player in baseball. I mean, come on, now.
  9. You think it’s reasonable that TA believes he is greatness and that is why people don’t like him anymore? That is the opposite of reasonable. He has never been at the top of the heap or comparable to those that are, let alone great. Yet according to recent comments, TA believes that “everybody knows” that he is the best player “everytime I take the field.” When he is nowhere close to that, then that is a high level delusion, along with the persecution complex he’s exhibiting. He’s being criticized for poor effort and performance yet in his mind its because he’s a great black man. That is straight up ludicrous. He mentions Bo Jackson, where are all the haters for this actual great? Or Mookie Betts, who has three times the career WAR at the same age, a guy TA evidently believes everybody thinks he is a better player than every time he takes the field. A clear future HOF outfielder who plays a better shortstop than he does. It’s nuts that these thoughts could even cross his mind let alone pass his lips
  10. He’s on pace for a -2 WAR, I don’t see the value in that. His WAR last year was only 1.3, that would be a negative WAR over two years. Don’t need a strong FA class to replace that. By definition, that would only require a AAAA played. Then there is the issue of correcting the dysfunction in the clubhouse. One way or another he has to be gone.
  11. The one thing Gordo did well was defense but he’ll always be remembered for this play. Feel bad for the fella
  12. I’m wondering if he’s even tradeable anymore? What contender is going to want a horrible defender whose bat has turned into a wet noodle, not to mention the non-baseball issues
  13. The level of delusion of this man is straight up clinical
  14. Abreu and Andrus isn’t that incredible. Typical end of career drop offs, although I think Abreu may have a little left in the tank
  15. Eaton actually only played 385 games in CF in his entire major league career
  16. Except Eaton didn’t play 491 games in CF for the Sox. Not sure about the accuracy of the rest of the numbers, but that stuck out as obviously incorrect
  17. That is almost entirely gone from major league baseball, unfortunately
  18. Crunch time came and they gave up one run over three and a third innings. If the bullpen came in the sixth inning of a one run game and giving up one run over the span results in the loss of the lead, the offense blew it not the bullpen. Any bullpen is going to blow one run leads if they have to protect it inning after inning over and over again. Haven’t seen too many with 0 ERAs.
  19. One run over three and a third innings. Usually that is considered good
  20. Jansen breathing through his eyelids. Wonder if he’s wearing ladies’ underpants too
  21. Anybody would have fit this lineup
  22. Someone tell these umps the Sox don’t need any help blowing games
  23. Well they have less HR than league average
  24. Sure, you can promise all day long, but a promise is only a comfort to a fool
