Carela has been very solid. A solo shot, and a little defensive misplay that led to a run, but mostly cruising otherwise. 6IP, 2R (1ER), 6H, 5K on an efficient 75 pitches. Interested to see if he comes out for the 7th.

Can't imagine that fanbase taking it easy on a guy who has managed only 27IP of 7.33 ERA ball this season on that contract. Hope he's alright.

Faced the minimum over his last 3IP, and I thought he could have come out for the 6th personally.
