I would welcome Jones to the Sox. His Salary isn't that bad IMO.

The Sox really want Jones... but I hear the Cubs price tag is pretty high for a guy that doesn't even play anymore. The Cubs are saying they don't have to trade Jones... they can just send someone else down... we will see. I like the Sox chances of landing Jones... that would also allow Dye more time off/ or the ability to be traded. I just have a feeling the Pads will do something with the Cubs for the way they fleeced the Cubs on Barrett. I think we will know soon.

I would like to see him on the Sox, but I think the Cubs and Padres may be at it again. fathom... how about that fan going out to have some "words" with Howry... LOL
