  1. Orlando Cabrera = big money, 5-7 mil per season/4 years. A SS that puts up .297-17-80 and plays great D will command a s***load of money.

I think Reed should get at least 200 AB's in Charlotte before he gets called up. AA to the bigs is a big jump. Plus, Rowand should get a chance at center.
  3. Look at it think way; the Sox's will make a lot more money off this new deal. So i'd say Uncle Jerry better put some of that money into the payroll and not just his pocket.
  4. Not interested in Astacio, Burkett, Byrd, Carpenter, Rusch or D'Amico. The rest are worth a look, I suppose. That's about the cream of the crop when it comes to the Sox's limited budget. I'm not saying we throw money at these guys, but a ST invite, or a low contract could make them a very a very attractive 5th starter.
  5. Players i would like the Sox's to take a look at: Orlando Cabrera Wilson Alvarez Pedro Astacio- only if healthy Miguel Batista- if Arizona dosen't pick up his option John Burkett- at no more than 2 mil/season Paul Byrd - if Atlanta dosen't pick up his option and only for little money Chris Carpenter- if the Cards don't pick up his option Jeff D'Amico- ST invite Bobby Howry- ST invite Curtis Leskanic Braden Looper Jeff Nelson Glendon Rusch- ST invite Mark Redman
  6. One thing for sure, if the 2004 Sox's are without Magz and Frank there gonna suck. I don't care how much pitching you can get to replace them. The Sox's would suck.

I called it in ST too
  8. If we need to beat Santana tomorrow, if we can beat him the 4th game should be much eaiser.
  9. He should have pulled Paniagua after he gave up that second hit, this is no time to be f***ing around.
  10. Thank you god. That was the most pumped up i've ever been this year.
  11. At least he made the right move bringing in Flash and not Botch.
  12. ABOUT f***ING TIME JERRY!!! GOD DAMN!!!!
  13. Get him out now, NOW!!!!! NOOOOOOW!!!!!!!
  14. Yeah, i think he does it to set up that side arm motion.
  15. Sully has his release point back, now he just needs to throw strikes.
  16. Yeah, he's gotta quit with all this pussy off-speed s*** and start throwing his good #1.
  17. What a great f***en way to start a game
  18. I said a minimal effect, i was referring to maybe 10-20 people not wanting to come to the park. Not a large amount of people.
  19. Well, the question is "Does the UD policy hurt attendance at the Cell?" and the anwser is obviously yes, you can't tell me this polocy attracts people to the park, and there might be a few fans who feel cheated when they can only stay in the UD. But the effect on attendance would have to be a very minimal one.
  20. Sully has great stuff, he's just having a hard time throwing strikes. Gotta be a release point problem, he'll have it figured out in no time. Schoenweis has been pretty good vs. lefties, that's about the only good thing i can say about him right now.
  21. Everett is 100% gone next year, i'd bet my car on it. But i'l bet KW will see if he can move Paulie for a starting pitcher as Colon will also be gone.
