6/24 - Los Angeles Peg Entwistles @ Chicago Resurrection Marys - 7:10 pm, Paxton v. Crochet
Well, even Stone is agreeing with the majority of posters on this site that thought the same thing, and he was actually a major league pitcher rather than a message board poster. I’m not seeing the supposed shame when Stone thinks the same thing and has more insight than all of us.

You’re probably right. He just repeated it again.

Maybe for a team as bad as the White Sox.

ILoy hurt. Again. Part XIII
Source for what? I asked the question. Where are all of these other outfielders and DHs, or even other position players, dropping like flies from these recurring hamstring injuries? I know you’ve been Eloy’s number one fan for awhile and refused to admit that he was injury prone, but that ship has sailed. It’s okay to admit that the guy is a bust, mostly due to being injury-prone.

During the last broadcast, Steve Stone said they will be cutting back on his innings/outings in some form or fashion eventually.

Agreed. Good pickup for that role but there should be no thoughts of him being a starting corner outfield option for this team going forward.

Julks ain’t jelking anymore. OPS down to .688.

The production team should be too embarrassed to show how much money the Dodgers spent in the offseason.

A 3 pitch strikeout from Eloy with RISP. How will we ever replace such an absolute STUD?!?

Eloy is an .800 OPS (at best) DH that can’t play the field or stay healthy. He would be easily replaceable if we had an owner who cared about winning and a GM with a clue.

Where's our Grimace?
Looks like the security guard was celebrating the walkoff win as well and bumped M&M guy by accident. I could be wrong though.

Why isn’t this a more widespread issue among MLB players then? What is Eloy doing differently with his conditioning, or lack thereof?

Not sure what’s worse — this idea or defending the Oldy Moldy acquisition to the bitter end.- Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Exactly what I was thinking. Here are Benintendi’s salaries over the next three seasons until he is gone: 2025: $16.5 million 2026: $16.5 million 2027: $14.5 million This past offseason, Getz spent $16.1 million on Brebbia ($5.5M), Maldonado ($4.5M), Lopez ($4.3M), and Tim Hill ($1.8M; already cut). All signings that most competent GMs wouldn’t make and would definitely wish they could undo at this point. So what player or players is our wizard of a GM missing out on signing with $16.5 million? The prospect return for Crochet in a trade without screwing it up by including Benintendi’s contract is worth more than the absolute crap players Getz would no doubt sign with that freed up $16.5 million.- Story on Sox trade possibilities...
I’m still waiting for our Steven Kwan. Who is the last player the Sox drafted and developed with a career major league line like this? .298 / .368 / .411 / .780- ILoy hurt. Again. Part XIII
Eloy probably gets injured again eventually anyways, but to your point, haven’t the Sox done this in the past (bring a player back too early before he was healthy, only for them to get reinjured)? I feel like this has happened before but I just can’t remember.- Story on Sox trade possibilities...
The Sox can’t even draft and develop guys like Kwan, much less a Ramirez.- ILoy hurt. Again. Part XIII
