Probably not, but I don't know if that is now a hold up. I was under the assumption that was for last year to pitch in the playoffs. If that does matter, then I would guess there is no way it's the Brewers. Probably the Mets.

Who is in here saying they trust all of this? People want to be cautiously optimistic. That's it. They HOPE it's a step in the right direction. What do you want people to be doing about this? Be mad?
He literally says in his post he does not expect them to be good next year or in 2026. That doesn't mean they can't start actually taking steps to improving. And people are hoping this is one of those steps.
Yeah, he was one of many. And this time he was the main person to make the call. Just because the last guy was terrible does not mean the new guy will be.
