i always thought hendrick's, cruz's agent was a little smart. but this demand of 4 mil has me thinking that maybe cruz is getting some bad advice.

about the minor leagues. are they in the equation?
-
No..... not this year. Don't know how reliable the info is, but I talked to a White Sox employee around X-mas leaving the ballpark that I happen to know and he/she heads a particular department for the Organization (If RPS thinks real hard, he could probably put 2 and 2 together and figure out who it was I talked to). The renovation of Comiskey Park, according to this employee, will be done slowly but surely over approximately 7-10 years during the offseasons. The HKS pics taken down from their website a few months back is what the finished product is supposed to resemble. I tend to believe him/her because, if anyone was fortunate enough to see HKS's finished Comiskey pics (they were bone inducing), everything on the inside is painted gray and black with blue seats. By now, I think most have seen the black and gray which now permeates the entire inside of Comiskey Park which was completed this Fall after 2002's season was over. Considering they are redoing the concourses in the OF's and upper deck this season according to the pics on HKS's website, I'd say the finished product is at least 3-4 years away. The big projects (which are being put off until after the national spotlight of the All-Star game is extinguished) are a new grand entrance on 35th and Wentworth and a HR porch in RF to make up for the seating lost when between 5-10 of the highest decks of the upper deck are chopped off. Restaurants and new interactive attractions are planned..... according to the Dept Head. The reason why the renovation is being done in stages is quite simple..... each project takes approximately 6 months to complete and trying to complete the whole project at one time would mean the White Sox would have to find a temporary home for at least one entire season..... similar to what the Bears had to do this past season. and i bet its going to look sharp/

or anyone who post on the hawks site, there is an article from Jim Keper on a slant i been yelling about. however he did it with the blawkhawks attendence vs money being brought in. so my question to you, b/c you are a mod there, can you have him do one on the sox? he has a degree on stats and it would be interesting to see what he comes up with. ok.
-
exactly, i knew there was something to it, i just couldn't put my finger on it.
-
based on this article, there is no f***ing way i would sign him. this guy sounds like boras.

-
great point and that is what i think. trade him now when his trade value is high.
-
i will give way to you on this. i just don't know and you do.
-
that was some deep thought, what are you melancholy?
-
i thought that webster is closer to the majors than reed.
-
my goal in this thread was to get something going in lieu of any news. maybe to get some ideas going.
-
or ever again - that money of money is not healthy for the sport and it sure hasn't been good for the Rangers and the ranger's owner was one of the hard liners this past negoation session. what a bunch a crock. they help screw up the salary structure maybe more so than the yanks.
-
Isn't Anthony Webster a little young and inexperienced and in need of a bit more growth as player to jump to the majors? webster is young and is in need of more seasoning, however you may be talking of the cf'er of the future. i am not an expert or one who can predict the yr they might make it. but my guess is 2004 beginning or middle of the season. another player is worth watching is jeremy reed.
-
ohhhh that hurts, where is roman when i need him.
-
what would happen if he asked for a trade?
-
do you honestly think that the sox will come up with the money to keep them. if we resign all the players needed to keep this team going, we will have a larger payroll than the yanks.
-
its been said many times over that clee will have a break out yr. last yr there were the manny rammierez comparsion.
-
oh boy, first let me say this. welcome on board and the kid is learning. he is 15 yrs old. remember how we are when we are that age. second. pls do not read my other post.
-
i will trade him to fill in some important areas and possible get even some great pit prospect.
-
Me too........ Thongs..... Tits....... muff diving........ oh great then you are going to piss off hsc.

i know of edgar, and pedro. the BA chat on their minors was great with alot of info on our players. seeing the stats is one thing, hearing a report on them is another. that is where i was going.
-
what is this, you and sox420 been hanging out or what. smoking that same stuff. no way. i would send them to ana for a pitcher and mathias the cat. or to sfo for threets and liden.
