that and when he let his bat go and it went into the minn dugout, right after they hit big frank. that was a wonder to see.

Just FYI..... it's douche Thanks, I was in too much of a hurry to look it up and calling him a Massengill didn't seem to have the same ring to it. a messengill??????/ oh that is funny

108 games, 400+ at bats= 19 hrs and 80+ rbi. those are some really good numbers for someone falling fast.
-
cwsox did kw offer him zito like money or not in the beginning? has he approach mark with more money beside the money that he finally offered? Do you really know all the numbers here? do not read this as an attack but just some questions i have been wondering.

according to mlb.com i was looking up different players who are sox prospect and i found this Jorge Nunez -- Escogido Lions: He played often near the end of the regular season and looked impressive with the bat, hitting .313 in 27 games without drawing a single walk. Though nobody has questioned his hitting abilities, Nunez has had problems fielding while playing shortstop and second base. During the Winter League season, he has played the outfield. "What most impressed me [about Nunez] was his desire to play," Cruz said. "Some people would have flat-out declined [to change positions]. [but] he is willing to show [the Expos] that he can play any position. We like that a lot. ... With hard work he can be a good outfielder." i wonder which position?

interesting reading. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/cws/news/cws...s_cws&fext=.jsp

then why stop there, go out and sign cruz to help in the cf
-
then we won't after him, however if he does post some decent numbers and olivio is a bust then we go after him.
-
wasn't the ticket prices raised this yr as well?
-
And in KW's view, that was offering our ace the same as last year's contract, in the $300,000 range. Oh, and with a $10,000 bonus if MB win AL MVP. If those are the numbers, then that is f***ing pathetic. How could you blame Buehrle if that is the case? I'm sorry, but I'm not convinced that those are the numbers. That may be what they ended up paying him when he didn't accept the contract offer but I'm not convinced that is what the offer was. Not that pissing off Buehrle this way two years in a row isn't moronic all in itself but I do think there are two sides here. Having said that, theoldroman is a deush-bag. let theoldroman alone for pete sake. enuf. are we going to turn like the other site who just attack someone who has a difference of opinion. i change my opinion and soooo does others, so what.

munoz was mention. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/inside_ga.../01/21/insider/
-
all good points, i personally would like to have him start in AAA, as you said to build up. however, i am just reporting what is being said. maybe just maybe kw has learned not to rush anymore pitchers. like he did with rauch.
-
either way he will be avail next yr. lets see how olivio does next yr.

Exactly my thinking mac...but I don't really care whether or not we carry 11 or 12....I'd rather carry 11, so our bench could be a bit deeper(as we didn't have much of a bench last year), but either one is fine....if someone goes down, than Almonte/Sanders takes their spot, unless it's in the rotation, in which case White/Stewart takes their spot....God, I hope none of our starters goes down. If our starting rotation is healthy all year, I will say that we will win the division. but a lot of sports writers and from the sox management team that munoz can come up and play by mid-season if he doesn't break with the team in spring training.

Regardless of anyone's opinion...to which each is entitled his/her own...there is no need for personal insults such as those. So, she can say this: because she has stature? ON THE INTERNET? What goes around comes around, she deserved every bit of it. alot of her spitfire comes as a joke, esp when she and i are going at it. why is it that if a man says this its ok, when a women does she lacks class.
-
hey she is very well respected here and that was not called for. you are basically new here and have to earn your respect. she is know her baseball and regardless of her being a women. chill and peace.
-
i don't know anything about him or could tell if this is a good pickup.

up yours jeffro bodine............first off we dont need a catcher.. im very confident in the one we have in olivo..........second of all .. jcj for cf.. why not just bring back singleton? geez its not like jcj is tearing up the leagues with outstanding numbers... rowand is perfectly capable of doing the job........pitching is our biggest problem.......too many what if's and if we are struck with the injury bug then we are screwed..........there are many reasons for my negative attitude.. if you dont like it screw you then.. i have been a soxfan longer than you have been alive little pup.......when you have been around it as long then youll understand the negativity....if were going to be honestly making a run for anything then the present gm needs to address the worst issues and fix them.. something hes just trying to bandaid over with a mild compress at the present moment, which in turn tells me its more bulls*** and smoke to cover up what is really going on here... pass of a mediocre team to the fans cause they wont know the difference anyhow..... f*** kw and f*** jr for thinking of us that way... and f*** you if you dont like my opinion... i dont really care............ :fyou

oh man this is full of bulls***. i now will jump on the bandwagon to say that rose should not be allowed into the hall when he is alive. http://espn.go.com/mlb/news/2003/0122/1496837.html the espn report says that rose will agree to betting if that will allow him to get into the hall. sooo remorsefull he is isn't he?
-
hey how is it going bud,
-
But hard work shouldn't go unnoticed or be unappreciated. I agree that a contract is a contract, but KW possibly lying about contract offers is what has enflamed most of the posters here..... not Buehrle looking to better his contract and be paid what others of his caliber are getting. well the lying part i agree, but then again i have been the most vocal with a few other that was not sold on "kw is a good gm" bull.
-
i am going to play the devils advocate here. a contract is a contract, where does it say that a contract has to be redone. for one person benefit? if that is the case, why hasn't some of the players who gotten a rich contract and then went into a slump, turn around and said, "pls redo my contract so i can give you your money back." if a contract is redone, then it should be as a 2 way contract or for lack of better words a big contract with a base and huge in incentives. This is hardly a fairly negotiated contract situation. Management holds all the leverage due to Buerhle's lack of service time. Like last season, KW offered Mark "X" amount of money. Mark turned it down. So, KW uses his leverage and forces Mark to play for $15000 less than he had previously turned down. Of course, eventually, the shoe is going to be on the other foot. When that happens, Mark will sound a lot like HSC when he says :fyou KW! on the same note, do you see the players rushing to redo their contract when they have had a horrible yr? No I don't. And though you have a point here, it's moot one. That is not what this issue is about. true that was not the orginal topic, but what gets me is why should we even need to give him more money when he is under contract. honor the contract and ask for more money. we now live in a world where it is expected to give more money or to offer another contract when they have a great yr. look at the working class people, we do not have that luxury. why does being a sport figure gives them special treatment? a contract is a contract.
