if kc is not have a good time finding suitors for beltran, then maybe something can be down. now the question is, will kw do something about it? who is wanting 10 mil for 4 yrs?
-
i was thinking before the winter league games that he might be ready, however after the winter league games, he needs more seasoning.
-
I pray for that every night. How I wish KW could do his job... i want to see us go deep in the playoff. until then i am still bashing kw. maybe not as bad as i was once. the colon deal looks sweet. but he still has f***ed up a lot.

Does this not get posted until the evening? Or is it someplace other than the main Baseball page at espn.com ? I can't find the article. they are screwed up over there. sometimes it after noon other times who knows. i guess its when they decide to get their collective heads out of their asses.

they the sox needs to sign a cf'er and i am not too happy with our catching as of right now. lets see what is going to happen by the soxfest. btw in ref to topic. espn is coming out with the hot stove later keep an eye out.

first i have disagreed with her and still do about olivio. next screw you on this comment of my nose up her butt. that was a plain and simple sexist comment. i would be offended with that as i would about any racist comment. that was totally uncalled for.
-
no arguement there... but if, by luck we make the playoff. what then.
-
i just read this from the basket ball board that DM was about to to get into a fight with the asst coach during a timeout. time to trade him and jc for a 1 rounder.
-
its not what it equals, it more of when the game was on the line in a very big situation and he gave up some runs, esp if it was a close one. like kevin millwood rep that he can't win in the playoff or in the cold weather.
-
oops i may have posted this before. sorry, in my zest for anything of news concering the sox i screwed up again. oh well

CHICAGO–Like a good wristwatch, Arnaldo Munoz just keeps ticking. The little lefthander was arguably the top pitcher in winter ball this offseason, putting him in the picture for a job in the Chicago bullpen. "I think he’s going to come very quick," White Sox manager Jerry Manuel said. "I’m really excited about him." Why not? Munoz used a dynamite curveball, a high-80s fastball and a collection of other plus pitches to go 4-0, 1.55 with four saves in the Dominican League. His ERA led the league and he held opponents to a .165 average. He also led the league with 74 strikeouts in 41 innings as a middle reliever. It equaled the most strikeouts in the league since Jeff Edwards fanned 76 in 1989-90. Munoz, signed by the White Sox out of the Dominican Republic in 1998, continued to pitch well in the league’s postseason round-robin. He earned saves in his first two outings, striking out seven in 32Ž3 scoreless innings. Not bad for a 20-year-old one year removed from low Class A. The White Sox figured to watch him carefully in spring training because his heavy winter workload followed a season when he helped Double-A Birmingham win the Southern League title. Munoz went 6-0, 2.61 with six saves in 51 appearances. He struck out 78 in 72 innings. Manuel was impressed with Munoz last spring but has never seen him when his curve is really snapping. "It’s just tough to get a read on a curveball in that thin air," he said. Lefthanders Damaso Marte, Mike Porzio and Kelly Wunsch are more likely to return to the Sox bullpen. Lefthander David Sanders, who led the Arizona Fall League with six wins and a 0.75 ERA, also has a better shot at the big club than Munoz.

k, i am kool with this. just thinking if this was a prelude to another trade or something.

http://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/200...121walker.shtml this is worth reading esp since it talked about the colon trade.

ok as i said i am not inform on white. according to the trib, he has 2 earn runs in 6 innings in the playoff. does that concerns anyone?
-
then can someone tell me why not reggie sanders?

Personal Bussiness. who is she?????????

i know one thing, i guess it would not be nice to charge the mound on white. here is what i got from espn scouting report on him. Pitching, Defense & Hitting White showed he could handle the setup role and bounce back quickly after Valentine began limiting the righthander's outings to a maximum of two innings. That approach enabled White to throw his entire repertoire, including a four-seam fastball in the 92-MPH range, a sharp slider and a decent changeup, curveball and splitter. He loves to challenge hitters and is not afraid to pitch inside, which shouldn't be surprising considering he's a former bar bouncer. He also is a decent fielder and holds runners well for a righthander. A lack of experience has contributed to his development as a poor hitter.

according to the article i posted on the health of the sox, it was said that he is ahead of schedule and may be ready.
