Can someone bring me up to speed on Diaz? Who is he and how did we get him? diaz is a decent prospect at best. we got him in a kenny lofton trade. which was a good trade in our favor.

And as for Clayton's performance when he was here, he did exactly what was expected of him. He started terribly both years, but brought his numbers up to respectability by the end of the year. His defense was very good. That's why KW got him. However, I do feel that it was mistake in the fact that Clayton wasn't needed. Valentin was a leader on that infield, despite his 36 errors in 2000. the one equation you are forgetting is his clubhouse presence as a punk. what did that cost us?

sf is really smoking some crazy stuff but then again, we are talking about kw. ref to mont, i bet they will be getting some huge offers for 1 of the players mention in the package. some teams will not have enuf tp entice mont to deal all in one big strioke. what gets me is that palmer won the trouphy. i don't know. but we need a qb and there is only two that is intriguing me. palmer and leftwich.

i just got done reading the topic of the rumor. what gets me, is i never had a prob with torn lunbum(sp), but his jabs at this site was bush. i really never had a prob with that site in general but davers and that guy from minn gets to me. what i don't like and still don't is some one or anybody going after anyone and that what happen there. that is why i am here. my opinion is that yes phg and torn are very good writers, great command of the english language that i wish i had. but to put down this site b/c of some writers is bulls***. these guys are doing a great job and this site is growning. if the other site wants to belittle us, then look at why so many good to great posters left. with ref to us growning, its happening and its envy that we are seeing from the other site. enuf said.

Jimenez or Hummel ar your SS's of the future..... IMHO. Which one it will be cannot be determined at this time. Acquiring Vidro won't "hinder the growth" of anybody but Harris really. Vidro is a proven commodity and trading for him give KW a few more PTBNL in other deals. One of the positions the White Sox are not hurting in for talent and number of players available is 2B. i like what you are saying and agree in the most part. if the trade were to happen, who is to say that vidro might not be heading somewhere else for another player or for that fact someone else.
