QUOTE(Cknolls @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 12:42 PM) Oberweis in any flavor is the best !!!!!!! Oberweis icecream, icecream cakes, pies, whatever, are on my "what I miss about chicago list." I get kind of ill from dairy, but it's worth it when it's Oberweis. . . Although, I *love* the chocolate sorbet from Haagen Daas.

  7. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 11:42 AM) My predictions for the bottom 3 Lisa, Bucky, Ace and like I said earlier, Lisa... SHE GAWN! Well, you know it's going to be bad when Bucky gives far from the worst vocal performance. I agree with your bottom three, but if it was based purely on vocals from last night I think it would be Kellie instead of Bucky. Lisa, Kellie and Ace were actually physically painful. . .
  8. Lisa is for sure gone. And you're right SS, last night was D-U-L-L. Moreso than usual. In fact, the best part was how crap they all were (I enjoyed Taylor, Katherine and Elliot), it reminded me of the fun audition days. Aside from Elliot and Taylor I don't even remember who sang what. Just dull and forgettable. At least it was only an hour long. Here's my question: can people not hear how off pitch they are? Ace, Lisa, Kellie (and to a lesser degree, Bucky) all had major pitch problems. I mean, it made me think, did they switch the key at the last minute so they were singing in a different key than the band? Just atrociously savagely (awesomely) bad.

    Stern Fans...

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 05:11 PM) No doubt...it was not funny for Gary...and they knew a little about where she has been...all over. These girls were all porn stars. I bet Gary is hitting the doctor today...I would. That industry is pretty well regulated, so if that's the case she's probably clean (or can't be employed).

  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 11:15 AM) Here you had me thinking the radio station in Cedar Rapids. The title is very confusing to native eastern Iowans. What isn't very confusing to eastern Iowans?

    Films

Saw The Inside Man last night. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it, it kept my attention (was a tad too long, but, oh well). I'm still not sure why Jodie Foster was in the movie, but whatever. Anyway, it was enjoyable. Recommended.
  15. So, I asked one of my guy friends how long you should let someone squirm after you catch them in a major lie before you put them out of their misery. He looked at me like I'm crazy. Guess that's a girl thing.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 01:09 PM) I think her quote is accurate in that you're free to practice other religions, but the government has also seen fit to ban conversion, and they may choose to ban other practices in the future. Hence, there's really only religious freedom on a quirky level vastly below how we'd define it in this country. Jackie's a a "he."
  17. From imdb (adding onto Jim's source) Jackson's Snake Film Creates Huge Buzz Samuel L. Jackson's new mile-high thriller Snakes On A Plane has created such a buzz among internet film fans, movie bosses have called for re-shoots - to give the film a tougher rating. The film, which stars Jackson as an FBI agent trying to keep a federal witness alive onboard a plane full of snakes, wrapped last September - but went back before the cameras earlier this month for five days of additional shooting. Film bosses at distributor New Line Cinema opted to add new scenes to the film to take the movie from PG-13 into R-rated territory, according to industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter. They claim the second round of filming became necessary after intense and growing fan interest in the film, which is scheduled to be released this summer. Among the reported additions to the film is a foul-mouthed rant from Jackson in which his agent character bellows, "I want these motherf**king snakes off the motherf**king plane!" The line is expected to take on cult status. The film-makers have reportedly added more gore, more deaths, more nudity and more snakes to the finished product.
  18. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 23, 2006 -> 04:52 PM) Mercury Milan! Dark Blue exterior, black leather interior. Cool, sounds fast! Congrats to both of you!
  19. what're you getting Queen? Steff, my advisor's car is very similar (except for color and the sirius thing), and it's gorgeous. I am green with envy.
  20. Glad to see Kevin go. But I am willing to endure Bucky for a few more weeks to get rid of Kellie. What's a ballsy? Please, you should at least know what part of speech it is from the context. Pathetic.
  21. Women, dutch or otherwise shouldn't be punished for having big boobs. If anything they should be rewarded. No, they should be equal. Sorry, this thread gave me a Ricky Gervais moment.
  22. V. good assessment, SS. Bucky was terrible, my roommate couldn't even figure out what he was singing. He was definitely the worst of the night. But both Lisa and Kevin bored me out of my mind. And Ace again reminded me what the Good Lord created the mute button. At first I didn't like Chris' performance ('cause I love me some Johnny Cash) but it grew on me, and I kind of wanted to hear it again after it was over. Mandisa is just amazing.
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 09:51 AM) I just can't believe Kevin wasn't in the bottom 3... Its like John Stevens all over again. :puke Vote for the worst.
