Division Series Tickets....
Hey guys I have a question, the tickets you buy can be used at any game or do you have to buy game one, game two or what?? I need some flexibility with school and work.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
The sox now made that 7 game losing streak a thing of the past with their resurgance, hopefully they keep kicking ass. I wanna see more than 8 in a row this time. I wasn't able to catch the game but from what I can tell Count did a good job again even though he wasn't as sharp as his last recent outings but he did shut em out. Jenks also did good and so did Hermy!!!! Marte on the otherhand :puke :headshake I hope Ozzie realized hes not the go to guy. Lets go for number 8 tomorrow sox.

Borchard wants a chance, or else
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) When ESPN1000 broadcasted from there, they interviewed him. When he was introduced, you could hear the crowd boo him. Ouch, that hurts just thinking about it. Hopefully he does good wherever he ends up, I've heard nothing but good things about that guy on here and I wish him the best.

Mike Morse
Lol, anyone see Olivos throw back to the pitcher that actually hit the batter on the helmet and got away?? You can see it on the pads web site, its funny.

Borchard wants a chance, or else
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 11:12 AM) Joe seems like a nice guy. I kinda felt sorry for him at Soxfest this year when people were booing him and stuff. Hopefully, he'll catch on with another team and get another chance. He was very frustrating to watch for us, though. It was either a K or HR. Hopefully, he proves himself in his limited time this final month. I had no idea he got booed at soxfest. Thats brutal, when did he get booed? If anyone remembers.

Sox vs. Royals 9-7-05
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) Damn...if people get on base...that is one incredibly fast lineup (outside of PK, AJ, and Jurassic of course) You can say that but either way I like how everyone on the team goes from 1st to 3rd.

Gio
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 4, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) I'm still going to take a wait and see approach because he doesn't have what you call an effortless delivery and could be one of those guys you project to have injuries and durability issues. However, its not like he's totally skinny either. With that said is there more of a chance he ends up in the bullpen??

Mike Morse
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 12:49 PM) oel (Belligham, WA): Will the Mariners keep trying to develop Mike Morse in left or trade him in the offseason, and what type of hitter do you see him developing into. SportsNation Jim Callis: (2:32 PM ET ) I don't think he's a SS and I think he was hitting over his head during his scorching-hot debut. His trade value just took a hit today, as we're hearing he's getting suspended for violating the drug policy. He also got suspended twice in the minors last year, reportedly for the same thing. Per Jim Callis in ESPN Sportsnation chat. Wow is all I have to say. He got suspended twice in the minors for it??

Magglio Ordonez
QUOTE(ChiSoxFan @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 09:11 PM) What I couldn't get over the weekend were the people booing Magglio every time he came up. I understood when he first came back, and it was expected. But winning is the best medicine. The Sox have gotten great production from Dye, & are likely bound for postseason play. Booing Mags at this point in time is pointless. I'm pretty sure he's enjoying his 15 million, but I'm sure the Sox are enjoying the extra 23 wins they have from individuals like Pods, Duque, AJ, Dye, & Iguchi that were bought for the same 15 million. Booing Mags at this point in the season shows pettiness IMHO. It's over, and it's time to move on. Exactly, everyone is happy right now because if Maggs wouldn't have left we probably wouldn't be this good. Although, as a big fan of his I was sad to see him go.

Notes: Hermanson willing to back down
Hermy is the man, that guy definitley deserves it and I hope he gets well soon because we need him.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) I love this team!!! I love Hermy!! I love when we all analyze!! Contreras tommorow babY!!!! Am I his only fan around here?!?! He's awesome baby! Definitley not, I am happy to see Count tomorrow. I'll tell you one thing, I was over my cousins house the 2nd Yankee game he pitched in. I only caught the later part of the game when he was still pitching and he got into a little trouble and I tell ya one thing, I noticed something from him I never saw instantly, he was very calm. He was going about his business doing a great job. I couldn't believe it, hes done it again and again, I for some reason believe in him now. Hopefully he doesn't prove me wrong. Contreras

Magglio Ordonez
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:53 PM) He is having a good season and his knee hasnt been a problem. I heard that recently he wishes the sox good luck on their post-season run but I dont think he has any regrets. I can't believe people still boo Maggs, he wishes us good luck and they still boo him after playing his ass off for 6 years. Especially after Maggs said Chicago is still his home. I think most of the fans that boo him do it just because he left and think its the right thing to do.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:50 PM) Problem is, he came out today and said he's not healthy. He did today??
-
Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
Hermy has a great closer attitude, if healthy Hermy can be good because he has definitley shown it.
-
Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
Now we've gone from bad fielding to bad baserunning, they need to clear this s*** up.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) Marte's ERA has to be one of the most overrated stats in baseball. LOL no s***.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
It can happen so if we have to go to one of our starters for a long game then atleast we have Bmac.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) And this is why you don't let bad teams think they have a chance to win the game. Any team for that matter, s*** I was wondering why he took Viz out hes made a complete turn around from the beginning of the season, how stupid I am.

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) I was talking to the other guy. I'm not mad at Ozzie or Duque. Duque had a QS. He had given up 1 run in 6 innings. You let him stay out there. I get pissed at free passes. Especially in front of Sweeney. That's why i was much more pissed at Cotts. I don't care what he's done this year. He's been great in his situations. But i'm talkin about tonight. Duke still has a QS. --Well stat wise, I just realized u meant a QS in general.--

Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:12 PM) Sweeney's 4-6 lifetime vs Vizcaino cool....
-
Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) He gave the Royals the best possible chance to comeback in this game by leaving Duque in to start the 7th. And now Sweeney is the go-ahead run at the dish. Does Ozzie not know that Cotts dominates righties? Of course, we'd have at least another run on the scoreboard if not for one of the worst 3rd base coaching decisions I've seen this year. Come on Viz, keep the ball down! I agree with you 100% but what you gonna do.
-
Royals @ White Sox 9/6/2005
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 6, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) And now we have ourselves a close ball game. I really hope I'm not the only one livid right now. fathom you should know "ozzie's going to get the most he can from his starters," hes not gonna change. Sure hes made a lot of games closer than they should this season with the s*** he pulls but at least we win.

Game Thread 9/4
QUOTE(That funky motion @ Sep 4, 2005 -> 10:56 AM) He's Hot! Lets sit him! Yeah no s*** wtf?? UGH, Jon is gonna need to be on his game today because runs are going to be hard to come by. With that said .
