  1. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 3, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) I'm lovin' that Uribe leg kick!! If only he'd been able to go the other way so often the entire year. Great to have Iguchi back in the lineup and fall a HR short of a cycle. The "O" is back, baby 20 Let's get it into the teens tomorrow!!! Its the Crede banner!!!!
  2. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Sep 3, 2005 -> 07:40 PM) TWINS WIN!!! 20!!!!!!!! Hell YES!!! The sox have been looking great the past 3 games, good baseball all around and they need to keep it up. Now we just need the Twinkies to help us out a little.
  3. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Sep 3, 2005 -> 07:33 PM) It's tied in Minny. First run given up since July 10th by Nathan. What a great game to pick to allow one dammit!
  4. Hell Yeah Sox, that's what im talking about. Pitching and Offense and ofcourse you can't forget their great D. Keep on rolling boys, don't stop until its all said and done.
  5. Right now the White Sox web site is saying Jason Johnson will be starting vs Count.
  6. QUOTE(3E8 @ Aug 31, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) Damn I love that Crede one. That is my desktop right now, I also love that one too. This might seem weird but every once in a while I like checking that hr shot out. I think its because when he hit it I felt the exact why he did. Coming off the bat you knew it was gone and it was great. Hopefully we will have a sept. to remember.
  7. QUOTE(bulokis @ Aug 31, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) Best news of the day, Indians lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitley, just got home to see they lost. Sox need to put together a winning streak more than 3 or 4 games. Although just taking every series from here on out will do.
  8. If I was Burke I would look at my options with other teams. Not that I am against Widge but first Widge breaks camp with the team and now Casanova over him??
  9. QUOTE(Misplaced_Sox @ Aug 31, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) El Duque really showing some great location on most his pitches Too bad the ump doesnt have a clue El Duque really has gotten the job done lately.
  10. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 31, 2005 -> 12:52 PM) That's grinderball rule #72 1/2
  11. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 31, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) Blalock>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Crede You know, if Crede is just as good as Arod, then Crede>>>>Blalock.
  12. Kieltys picture makes him look like a leprechaun.
  13. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 12:29 AM) I think Hawk is going senile on us. Well maybe on the Griffey comment, but you know Crede is just as good as Arod.
  14. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 09:09 PM) A Shutout vs Texas is huge. Last time they were shutout... 1st game after the All-Star break vs Oakland. to B-Mac and JD! Lol, when was the last time the sox put a few games together without any errors?? They look like butchers out there, for a while now.
  15. QUOTE(the southside tiger @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 09:09 PM) Maybe you should take a look at my posts and point out where I threatened to kill or even hurt a player, made sexual innuendo about a player, or even was profane. I didnt call Garland a pussy (I used the traditional word, coward), I didnt call him a f** (that would have been uncalled for). I called him a coward because the way he goes at hitters. For the millionth time, he doesnt attack hitters! How is that wrong? You know what, dont bother to tell me. Go get the admins and if they think what I said about Garland is wrong, then they can ban me and that can be that. If not, how about you just shut it and stop being so sensitive? Hey man layoff, I just told you that you should read that for your own good. I don't care if you did or didn't say you would kill anyone. "You're acting like a cub fan."
  16. QUOTE(letsgoarow @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 09:05 PM) great pitching... great hitting.... on the bright side of the first two losses of the series.. we are hitting the s*** out of the ball I think everyone is caught up with Brandon and that we split that their not seeing that. The sox offense is getting it done . Hopefully they keep going and the pitching can match it, of and I can't forgot the defense...
  17. Bmac Sox Offense Keep it going Brandon, you pitched great vs a team that beat our top starters. As far as the offense I hope they have come alive.
  18. QUOTE(the southside tiger @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 09:00 PM) He does pitch without balls! How is that wrong? Garland is not a gutsy pitcher! Are you happy, is that politically correct and sensitive enough for you? This is pathetic. Dont be so damn sensitive. Maybe you should take a look at this, just some info on why were being careful. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?ac...ounce&f=2&id=26
  19. McCarthy has had enough, 117 pitches thrown so far.
  20. QUOTE(the southside tiger @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) No, thats like cheating. Whats the fun in rooting for a team thats just going to buy whatever it needs? I like rooting for the Sox. Homegrown players, some trades and a few FAs. Jeter, Williams and Rivera are the only Yankees to be with the Yanks before stardom. For the Sox, ARow, PK, Crede, Thomas, Buehrle, Garland, Jenks, McCarthy, Marte and Cotts all came to prominence with us. Some of them were with other organizations, but they never did anything before coming here. We had to take risks on them. The Yanks never do that. If you want to get technical, we traded for Garland and claimed Jenks from the Angels. Also, Cotts came in the trade for Koch. --Oh and Marte came in through a trade too.--
