and I hit 56 at the game today you think I can be a major leaguer? Hawk said it himself, you don't have to throw hard to be successful... Comon I couldn't do much worse than Koch.
-
is that all he does is strike out? I gotta go to work hopefully when I get out I see a nice W infront of Felix. Go get em Diaz.
-
DAMN!!!!!! What the hell is going on man I'm tired of this new pitcher cy young crap.
-
Its time baby!! Lets go sox
-
Anyone in the bullpen??
-
That's exactly what we need, a consistent ball club, hopefully next time around we put some hits together and get some runs.
-
Hopefully we do get some Dontrelle's but we never do, its like anytime sox callup a pitcher he either does ok or doesn't...we'll see.
-
I would kill for that...except for the playoff part.
-
Man he needs to get back on track. He went from an all star 1st half in 02 to a very good 2nd half of the 03 season, now again another slump, this guy needs to get going. Also, hopefully Gload gets back on track then we will have a bench that's just waiting to explode of success.
-
I know what you mean, no one picked him up and I thought he was a steal, the thing is... I have him on all my teams lol.
-
I have always had faith in Buehrle and I am not going to lie, lately its been getting slimmer and slimmer but I still had some. I hope he builds on this start, good move by Oz not to let him complete the game, don't want him to get carried away. We had our bad starts now its time to get back on track. Am I the only feeling that from now on Buehrle, Loaiza, and Garland will put together some very strong starts? Only if Diaz can shut em down when he gets up here, then we will be real hot! Go White Sox!!!
-
Damn! Damn! DAMN!!!! I have to work right after school and most likely will not get a chance to see him pitch. I really hope, like the rest of us, that he will finally lock down that 5th spot and give some good performances. If he does good, not only do we get him for Lofton, but we also have another guy in the pen that could be good in the future, what a steal! (I hope)

Daily Herald is saying Loaiza has lost velocity

He just needs to mix up his pitches more, like someone said already, he is relying too much on his cutter. Not only does he need to mix his pitches up more but he doesn't have that pin point control now as he did last year. As said by him, he needs to regain his arm strength, I think since he knows what could be the problem, he could just be overthrowing trying to match his speeds from last year. Those are quite a few things he needs to tweek but I know he can do it, it's kinda hard to have a 2.90 era with 21 wins last season (add 2-3 he should've won because of those 1-0 losses) and be a fluke. I am concerned with Loaiza but I have confidence in him as for Buehrle... I am disappointed and hope he can get his crap together. -
How good does Griffey Jr. look now?

The last thing this teams needs is an injury prone, high salary, high risk guy on the team. The sox need pitching and some good contact hitters. The only way the sox will go after a guy like Beltran is if Maggs and/or Lee go and they leave the remaining spots to prospects such as Reed and Borchard, and don't think the sox won't give Borchard a full time job, Kenny has already said if he needs another OF he has no problem with giving Borchard the job. Besides if the sox can't afford Maggs what makes you think they can get Beltran? It's already been said he wants arod money for about 5-7 years. With our OF prospects, if the sox don't resign Maggs, I think they should sign another good lefty contact hitter to replace him for about 3 years with an option for 4, that way we give Anderson, Sweeney, and definatley Reed time to develop. Besides these guys we also Nanita and don't leave out Borchard. I hoping most of them will become studs, if not atleast 2 will have to be good major league players. I know the sox will have some studs in the OF soon but we desperatley need an ace, I hope our prospect such as Diaz, Honel, and Pacheco can do some damage once they get here and I hope thats fast. I still haven't given up on Josh Stewart I hope he gets better. -
Well I gotta go, this s*** better be looking better REAL soon. See yah later guys.
-
Man our offense hasn't got hot this season yet! I remember last season when they were scoring like 10 runs per game and then they went against Gil Meche (I think) from Seattle and then we were dry again. WTF!!
-
I will be so pissed if we get swept, Oz needs to start getting on their ass to f*ckin wake up. The only way I will not be too mad if we lose is if Twins also lose so we stay tied, if they win and we lose im gonna be pissed.
-
I know what u mean...
-
Dammit why don't the sox have one of those players each team just cannot get out? Only one's I can think of are El Caballo vs Cubs and PK vs A's. If we did there would be a diff hero every game.
-
I don't know how right I am but I think this is only the 2nd series loss this season. One to Yankees and then to Toronto.
-
More like why can't we keep Catalontto off base.
-
Ok I just got home from work and see Loaiza is still in the game with the sox down 7-3. wtf happened? I see Roberts has 4 steals and Mora has 3 vs. Olivo and Loaiza. What is wrong with Olivo and what is wrong with the sox? I need someone to explain to me what happened because Loaiza is pissin me off.
-
I also think Wright's only chance to stay in the big leagues is as a reliever, his 2002 2nd half magic is gone and last season was good in relief. I hope that if the sox do bring him back up, that they put him in the bullpen where he belongs. I can't recall who pitched in NYY last year who didn't last too long and then Wright came in relief to settle the yanks down and get the win, but that's the Danny I would like to see.
-
I was kinda scared when Koch came in like most of us, not only has he stunk for us but he also has a bad record against Toronto. Good job to him and hopefully he keeps on getting those outs and stopping those hitters cold. Good win by the sox.

Who does that remind you of?
