White Sox vs. Oakland A's
I swear Mark Buehrle would be at 200 wins by now in his career if he didn't pitch for the Sox. f***ing pen kills him

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
Grant Balfour is Jesse Crain. They both throw the same s***. Straight fastball in the low 90s and solid curve.

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
We'll probably see Stealth Elf soon on the base paths.

Walk this off Dunn.

White Sox bullpen: 1 save, 6 blown saves. 1-for-f***ing-7!!!

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
Sad thing is Thornton looked good. Lucky ass blooper scored two. If he started the inning, he probably would have gotten a save.

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 03:48 PM) Sounds like Geren screwed up. Yep. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 03:48 PM) As long as Juan Pierre catches any flyballs, Matt's going to be fine. I say 50/50.

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
Thornton will either get a huge boost of confidence or be lost for the rest of the season after this.

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
Hawk calm down, that's only one.
-
White Sox vs. Oakland A's
The best thing about this is the hilariousness of Hawk every 9th inning.

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
So this will be the fourth game our bullpen/fielding has completely f***ed up.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 03:36 PM) I am going to make murder. Agree. But I have no idea what you mean lol

White Sox vs. Oakland A's
How soon til Crain gives up a 3-run home run by throwing his horribly straight fastball?

White Sox vs. Oakland A's

2005 title the only one in the last 15 years "untainted'
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 11:59 PM) I remember saying that Rowand was an obvious juicer years ago and Steff tearing me a new one because there was just no way it was possible. I don't think he did, but it is certainly not out of the realm of possibilities. Everyone has to be looked at with a skeptical eye, and that's unfortunate. But that's what happens when steroids hits a game like it did baseball.

Evaluating series wins/losses/ties
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 11:55 AM) I base it on how many games they snatch from the jaws of defeat in comparison to how many they snatch from the jaws of victory. In recent years and seemingly continuing into this year, we've blown more games that we were winning than we've stolen. I agree with this. While it's good to win series and all like we have been doing, the "bad" losses are killer. You can't give games away like that. When we inevitably hit a rough stretch, we are gonna need those three games we have already blown.

2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 10:42 AM) Lakers or Thunder imo. I agree though that SA wont make it out the West but like I said before, might as well capture the 1 overall just in case. I take the Lakers as well. When the lights shine, Kobe just becomes a different player. Phil knows how to coach better in the playoffs than anyone in NBA history.

2005 title the only one in the last 15 years "untainted'
QUOTE (WCSox @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:26 PM) I'm sure that at least a few players were taking amphetamines (greenies). Baseball's a dirty sport. We may have cheated less than other teams, but we're not above it. That was baseball player's version of coffee for awhile.

4/11 Games
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 04:46 AM) Hopefully Gallagher keeps hitting. Wouldn't be a bad thing to have another quasi-prospect, even if it is at 1B where the Sox are pretty damn deep. Jordan Danks has only struck out 4 times in 14 plate appearances this year! BALLER
