I don't think Fangio would have stayed with the Bears (as he would have had opportunities to be a DC elsewhere) after being passed up as head coach without being one of the higher paid assistants in the league. As for Nagy, this was his first head coaching gig, he did not deserve to be paid as a top 10 coach.

By far the best interview with Hahn I’ve heard in awhile. Great questions, Matt, about organizational philosophy that a lot of us have wanted to know but would never get from a hype piece done by Merkin, Garfein, etc. Kudos from a fellow Trevian.

So, as many expected, WSD's "scoop city" was nothing but an attention grab. He is starting a Barstool Chicago office or something like that. This is why he gets a bad reputation, because he implies he has a White Sox-related scoop, then the scoop concerns nothing related to the White Sox.

I would imagine official vs. unofficial is merely a game of semantics. Like unofficial to me is length and money offer, but official is with all the benefits included (suites, hotel rooms, etc.)
