  1. And what is the one constant between all of them??
  2. Sox had the best chance in the history of this franchise to add an elite, HOF-type talent in the prime of his career when not many teams in the race and their hands were not tied financially. And they blew it. F this loser organization to the core.
  3. A lot of people were bummed we didn't get Benedenti in 2015 by one pick, Misner seems to have a quite similar skill set.
  4. 7 BB to 1 K so far. Wonder if he is being pitched around.
  5. How can you discern that he actually broke them (rather than posting what he read elsewhere) without delving into a deep investigation of a timeline?
  6. Rick is most definitely a lawyer. Does a lot of talking for saying nothing.
  7. You make several predictions on your twitter, when a real one comes true you keep it/pin it, then delete the wrong ones. All of sudden when you post things in the future, you look legit.
  8. The account has four total posts. It's 99.9% certainly BS and trolling.
  9. I am curious to see (a) where Flores starts and (b) whether or not he keeps performing the way he has. He was pretty good in AA last season, so he might start in AAA, but regardless, there always seems to be soft-throwing lefties who have great control and feel for pitching that become really good MLB pitchers. He might be that guy.
  10. Maybe they don't help with command per se, but hitters will not see the ball as well against him and swing at those pitches outside the zone.
  11. Except Realmuto is one of the five best catchers in baseball.
  12. Personally, I would rather the Sox give out a few bonuses north of $1 million to talented guys than one $5 million bonus to arguably the most talented guy. International prospects are such crap shoots that I think it is better to spread that risk (and reward) over several really good players (as currently scouting) than one top player (as currently scouted). Basically, not getting one top 5 guy, but rathe r5 top 30 guts. Hopefully that's the Sox strategy.
  13. What's the schedule normally like for pitchers once they begin throwing after TJ? Like after they start tossing, when/how do they build up their distance/velocity/adding live hitters, etc.?
  14. Yonder. Yolmer. Yoan. We need this guy just based on his name.
  15. Law generally is more pessimistic about Sox prospects, but he has good reasons for it as the Sox have demonstrated to be very poor at drafting and developing their own players.
  16. An issue related to this may be the Sox scouting (which always is an issue), that the scouts, cross-checkers and ultimately KW/Hahn missed the signs that his power would not translate.
  17. I do think Bernardo Flores is a guy who could just keep producing with his feel for pitching despite a lack of great stuff. But ya, it's bleak in the lower levels.
  18. Law has the Sox ranked 13th overall. The lack of depth, as he aptly points out, is a real concern.
  19. Ah, another “insider” who has nothing to lose by posting anything and who qualifies their material with “it could be something, it could be nothing.”
  20. First it was to happen on the 24th. Then today. Now maybe later. Got it, this guy knows what's up.
  21. Ya I could buy somehow this secret being kept for a day or so from the big-time journalists (kinda like the Q trade), but now for any longer than that.
