same here and his .230 average, 20 errors, which always seem to happen at key points in the ball game and plus 100 strikeouts. He should be gone, especially making 5 million for what he does. I would rather have Uribe starting than Jose, even if Jose is with the Sox. But, I can't see Guillen and Kenny dissing a veteran like that.

Uribe's only chance to be a starter is if Jose is traded or he starts at second and beats out Harris if the Sox don't sign anybody.

On Thrusday night, Bruce Levine and Phil Rogers will be calling in on a New Trier sports radio show at 7:00 PM. Since it's a high school show, the signal is really weak and can only heard from the New Trier district. The station is 88.1 FM and is the high school radio station for many high schools. Just thought anyone might care if they lived there.

According to Phil Rogers, the Sox are after Juan Gonzalez whom Kenny Williams belives would have a monster season at Comiskey. Also, he thought that the Sox were contemplating obtaining Kevin Brown for Konerko and Valentin, in which contracts would pretty much match. Hope we get Juan gone, if Ordonez is traded, he will be healthy and remember what he did when he was healthy! Also, Carl Everett is back on the radar screen of the White Sox.

I just read over the White Sox message board that the Sox signed him to a 2-year 7million deal. Anybody know anything. The person said he heard it from the score, but I have heard nothing on ESPN 1000. Anybody know something about this or was the guy hoaxing us??

When you look at Anaheim's roster for the 2004 season, they really don't have many Latin ballplayers: R. Ortiz, Molina, Rodriguez and Escobar, and that' about it. Talk about feeling uncomfortable, he wouldn't like having so few Latins. While the Sox have eight Latin born players plus a primarily Latin Coaching staff. It look like Bartolo should be wearing the balck and white if he wants to "comfortable"

That deal would probably have to include two of these three: Andy Marte, Adam Wainwright or Wilson Betemit (spelling probably wrong) plus cash

Maddux showed last year that last year was his decline. He didn't have Mddux-esque numbers. He might be cheaper than Bartolo, but he wouldn't pitch well with the Sox.

Will the Sox eliminate the option of trading Magglio Ordonez, if Konerko leaves? We would be giving up Konerko's 8 million and gaining Perez's 3-4 million. I hope this goes through, we re-sign Bartolo and keep Maggs, the division would be ours.

He can do it at all levels, but can he do it in the big leagues?

That would be sweet, without a gold glover at first and one of the better outfielders in the league, they would be totally out of the race. Also, I don't it would help them re-sign Stewart or Guardado. Who wants to play for a rebuilding, small market team (Devil Rays anyone)?

If the Sox trade Konerko, I hope that Kenny beefs up the offer to 3 years-39 million with a mutual option for the fourth year, this certainly would pursued Bartolo to come to the Sox over the Angels, I hope!!
