  1. Yeah, Jose did bad in the Winter League's, then had a great April and then exploded. I wish he wouldn't do Winter ball, so he could have at least 2 good months.
  2. Aaron will be good for .275, 15-20 homers and 70-80 rbi's if he gets at least 500 at bats, which hopefully will heappen.
  3. I was posted on rotoworld.com, but they got the info from the Denver Post. So, I guess that doesn't count, but oh well.
  4. How can we win with a staff of: Sirotka Baldwin Eldred Parque? We did, we will be fine now and maybe its better that we aren't so optimistic giving them too much pressure. I'll be we will win the division this year cause everyone's down.
  5. Jimenez is a bad fielder and base runner, but that can be fixed by good coaching (did you think Jerry Manuel could help him?) Overall, he is an above average hitter, young and a switch hitter. I would take him back over Harris, just because he can hit.
  6. Jason Johnson http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=5885 Damian Moss http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6710 (on second though he had terrible stats last year, only Johnson is quality and we have to get him or else)
  7. Sindey Ponson, Jason Johnson and Damian Moss, quality arms, but only moss and johnson are affordable for the Calcentines Blancos.
  8. The Sox will be fine, they have some power and a okay pitching staff, even without one free agent that we will get (Moss, Ponson or Johnson). Look at the Twins, Royals, Tigers and Indians; we still have the most talent, even though talent doesn't always win. But I think Ozzie will get the best of his new players.
  9. They did so to a 3-yera deal worth 12 million, I don't think the Sox could have offered that kind of money to him. Now the A's staff looks awesome with Zito, Mulder, Hudson, Redman and Harden. WOW!! Billy Beane working his magic again.
  10. Marlon Anderson I think if we get Marlon Anderson to fill 2nd base, we would have a solid 2nd baseman. He could be a good leadoff hitter considering the power we would have behind him http://www.rotoworld.com/display2.asp?spor...yers&X=6101&Y=0 Mark Redman Solid lefties don't come around to often http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6285 Braden Looper Would probably close http://www.rotoworld.com/display2.asp?spor...yers&X=5966&Y=0 Danys Baez Would be that 2nd righty needed in the pen, this would allow us to trade Koch for barely anything or even Cedeno who would be okay in Center http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6395 This would cost us probably $ 8 million dollars, but we would improve vastly. What are your thoughts?
  11. http://www.diamond-mind.com/articles/proj2003.htm This was made March 21st and they predicted the Sox to finish 4 games behind Minnesota with the Sox having a 86-76 record. Talk about good predictions, that's amazing.
  12. My bad, apparently the Cubs only non-tendered him so they could sign him to a year deal. I don't know why, but ESPN 1000 said they were close to signing him to a 2-year deal. Anyway, I still think CUBS = Dumbass :fthecubs
  13. that they don't get Pudge or Javy and this will be so funny.
  14. I think if we go the non-tendered way for pitchers I would be happy with a rotation of: Loiaza ($5 million) Buerhle($4.5 million) Redman($3 million) Garcia($6 million) Garland($2.3 million) Solid rotation for not a lot of money, only about $20 million
  15. http://rotoworld.com/display1.asp?sport=ML...yers&x=6285&y=0 he is a good pitcher and could be had for 6 million over two years, he had a great NLCS
  16. I would love to add two out of the three pitchers that includes Jason Johnson, Damian Moss and Freddy Garcia. Even one of these would be a great add, but when will we find out if these guys got non-tendered?
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6440 This site shows that righties hit wunsch at .153 average. I'd say that's pretty good and lefties hit .127 off him. What's wrong with him being a lefty set-up, he gets both righties and lefties out at great rates. Also, who would close, Koch deserves a shot but only after Marte who proved himself worthy to get a chance last year. And I agree with Chisoxfn that Grilli will probably be in there, he has got some stuff and isn't injured this year, he looks like a steal.
  18. Why trade Lee, next year our outfield will be terrible: Rowand Reed (only good one) Borchard Lee will be a superstar this year or the next why give him up, he wil probably go to 1st base when Konerko's contract is up.
  19. This is how I think our bullpen will end up: CL-Marte ( I Think he will be given every opportunity to thrive in the role) LS-Wunsch (We just resigned him) RS-Koch (unless he is traded, then it will be Jose Santiago) Middle Relief-Felix Diaz/Arnie Munoz (This young duo will either be the start of something great or another bunch of young prospects that bust) Mid Relief- Jose Santiago (if Koch isn't traded) Long relief-Danny Wright (could be very valuable out of the pen) By the looks of this pen, I am a little skeptical especially with a current rotation of: 1-Buerhle 2-Loiaza 3-Garland 4-Cotts 5-Rauch I am just a little a worried
  20. Jose Santiago, here as his numbers from last year, not bad actually: http://forecaster.chicagosports.chicagotri...player.cgi?1858
  21. Why do we want a guy who we will have for one year and will be angry here. Doens't make sense!!
  22. Nomar probably would sign a contract extension abd when Mia Hamm comes to games more attendance.
  23. yeah, I remember coming home from school and listening to Mac, Jurko and Harry and they were talking about the trade and I almost scream, I was so damn happy.
