EXPOS get Joe Boarchard Willie Harris Bernie Williams Prospects from Yankees Whitesox get Livan Hernandez Alfanson Sorinano Yankees get Jose Vidro Magglio Ordonez **No source, so no confirmation that someone was bored and just thought about** Interesting though, because Vidro would leave in his contract year so the Expos get something for him, lots of young guys. Just something to ponder.

Here's a trade rumor that makes perfect sense!!

Look at Ishii's numbers, who cares about control problems when he had a sub 4.00 era, he is not a Neal Cotts. -

Above, I wrote that is was reported by a guy on Sporting News radio, his name Dave Van Dyck9 (actually on Fox Sports Radio which is basically Sporting News.) Anyways, at least it provides conversation. -
Also, the Dodgers would have to throw a top prospect in like a James Loney or Miller with the Sox throwing in a mid-level prospect like Gonzalez(just from potential.) We would get a pretty good pitchers whose numbers have only gotten better since he's been here. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/stats?statsId=6852 He is also only 30 years old, so he's got time left and the most obvious part is that he and Shingo are best friends. Shingo would feel comre confortable in the clubhouse, which would lead to better production. Maybe a little far-fetched the the White Sox will have a TOP 5 rating of teams in Japan, which would lead to more revenue. With Konerko gone we could sign Randall Simon or Eric Karros to play first base. **This rumor was reported by a guy on Sporting News Radio**

I am so angry about this they talked about the D-Rays more than the AL Central combined. Two minutes isn't that hard to fit in about a division. They take half the time to talk about the Phillies, Red Sox and Yankees. I didn't he the words Cleveland or Indians, I only Chicago. WOW!!

1. Jeremy Reed 2. Neal Cotts 3. Kris Honel 4. Ryan Wing 5. Brian Anderson 6. Joe Borchard 7. Ryan Sweeney 8. Ricardo Nanita 9. Rob Valido 10. Arnie Munoz

I think he'll be great, all the players will be seeing him for the first time ever. He will be dominant in the beginning, then not as dominant, but solid. Assuming he closes right away, 2.66 ERA, 5 wins, 3 losses and 38 saves. Do the Sox still have Man Soo Lee, if they do he'll help Shingo adjust, if not, not sure what will happen.

Just answered my question and also "The 34-year-old right-hander, who throws sidearm and relies on a sinkerball, led the Central League with 34 saves last season. He has 260 saves, passing Kazuhiro Sasaki last year for the No. 1 spot in Japan." from MSNBC Sinkerballer
-
From looking at his stats that show till 1997, he logged as many as 80 innings, which is a good sign for durability. I wonder if he is overhand or submarine style or just has a funky motion like Hasagama and the now departed Sasaki.

He hasn't given up a run in the Japanese Series. He is at his best when the pressure is on. Me Likey. CL-Takatsu LS-Marte RS-Koch MR-Wunsch MR-Politte LR-Santiago LR-Wright Guys we have a pretty good pen and if Person steps up, this actually could be an exciting year.

This is a grezt move, coming from a Sox fan, if they don't sign Maddux thye have a former all-star who is at least an above average #5. He no more of a waste than Robert Person(who isn't a waste, he was a good pickup, just making point that Dempster is good) $500,000 is nothing to a team that spend and spends
-
For Kevin Jones, who is gonna be spectacular they would. Also, they $20 million of cap room to address other needs as well as Rosie Colvin not playing this year for them.
-
If they deal with the Pats, I would want the two #1's and a second rounder for the 1st rounder and a third rounder. The Pats would be desperate to get him at that point and might do it. If Jones and Jackson are gone, they will go after Greg Jones from Florida St.

By the way Bruce looked, I am beginning to think he was the one who fabricated it. He looks like he needs some sleep.

Get either Tommie Harris or Wolfork and then sign Grant Winstrom(DE) in the off-season. This would allow them to use 3 rushers and then use Harris or Wolfork as a NT. Don't get Sapp, Winstrom had better numbers last year, is 4 years younger, loves Lovie Smith and will come cheaper (not cheap) Another Jerry will need to spend $$

You are right, they were fourth in the league in fielding percentage, although had 1 fewer errors than the Rangers who ranked third. Not bad for a "terrible team defense." http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/statistics?s...field&league=al

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1712802 Fair prediction to the White Sox, they will have to hope for Konerko to return to form and this team will go. Now we actually have a top of the order guy named Willie Harris. If he is pacient, his OBP will be solid and he'll steal 50 bases. Expect him to bat .265 with the steals and stellar "D" at second. I think his will and heart will drive to be very solid for us. By the Way, Maggs is hitting .500 in the Venezuelan playoffs or Caribbean World Series, one of those.

I read somewhere that the Expos might secretly be talking with Boras on a 3-year deal worth $24 million. It would make sense because Pudge is Puerto Rican and the Expos have a lot of hispanic players and play some games in Puerto Rico. Plus a better shot a winning. What would Pudge choose, losing and making $40 million or a shot at winning and making $24 million? Just ask Boras!
-
Yeah who cares if Estes pitches well he be with s int he majors, if not since its a minor league deal, we owe him nothing. It's win win, not something usually said for the White Sox.
-
A owner that will spend to keep his own players. On the money side a 3-4 year deal worth $36 million (3) or $48 million (4). This is fair, if the best rightfielder in the league signed a $14 million deal, then 3rd or 4thbest in the league deserves $12 million a year tops.

I would really like to see the Sox go after Kris Benson at the break from the Pirates. He is a free agent after 2005 and I think we would have a reasonable shot at resigning when we get some salary relief next year. He generally post good numbers and I am confident the Pirates would do it because they would be out of it and they have no shot at resigning him. I am glad not see Nomar at short for us for three reasons: He didn't want to be here, we wouldn't have traded him for pitching and I would rather sign a guy like Christian Guzman in 2005, who would come $10 million cheaper and post very solid numbers and a great defense.
