But, the pitching matchups shows that the Sox will struggle against Cleveland and with Cleveland likely to be only 3.5 games behind us, this is a big series. Ordonez will run the bases today in Montreal, and if all goes well, he could be ready to play next week. Anyone pitching well against the Cubs

I know that I would, can you imagine, getting the consensus #1 and #2 players in the draft at 18. The Sox paid Borchard $5.3, why not Drew who would want that much. But how bout Weaver, if the Yankees get him it totally defeats the purpose of the draft. I think that we will take one of them if available. What do you guys think?

The only runner that I feel comfortable with is Jose. Let him steal, he reads pitchers very well and always knows the situation.

The game that Koch blew yestaurday wasn't that bad. Minny lost to TB and are showing that they are a average team. Just think of yestaurday as a game we won and one that Minnesota won. No ground lost nor made.

We trade Joe Borchard, Paul Konerko, Mike Spindale (maybe it would have to be Sweeney) and Eduardo Villacis for John Olerud, Eddie Guardado and Freddy Garcia. We get Olerud and older vet, with a sweet lefty stroke, and a good glove, Guardado a awesome closer and Carcia a solid pitcher. They get Konerko who is better than Olerud and would help the Mariners get younger. Also, they get some pretty good propsects. This all is assuming Maggs returns, because if he doesn't Konerko's got to stay. **If we deal it will be from a strength. Any thoughts?

For all we know Maggs might only be out the week. Let's wiat till tomorrow till we can say for sure.

After our terriible start to the road trip, Minny loses 2 of 3 at home to Tampa. And you thought we had problems.

Before we overreact it's still not official that he will need surgery. It's just a could situation. Let's wait till tomorrow, when all the doctors give their opinons. If he is out, we will see the character of our team. Let's just wait.

Wow!! Sounds too good to be true, but hopefully it is true and it seems like a good deal for both.

This all was a fabrication so that there would be contraversy between the two sides and thus Maggs would be angry at the Sox and the Sox would be angry at Magglio. This is just some Mets people who want to start a ruckus so that they can get Maggs in a trade or via free agency. No one turns down $14 million a season, when the best player at the position, who is also a 5-tool player doesn't make that much. If Vlad makes $14 million than Maggs is right at $12-13 million. Although, we will overpay if we re-sign maggs, but to keep him year is huge boost to the White Sox and other free agents and our in-house players.

Not to be mean to Cotts, but he is future is a starter, let him go to AAA and get some innings in. Wunsch is a solid lefty and now that Cotts mind has been effected, he needs to regroup in Charlotte. Ever since that Phelps homer, to the bad Minny start and now, he has lost tons of confidence. Let him go back to AAA and build it back up. Any thoughts?
