Who is that girl in your pic qwerty? she is hot and good to have 2.5 game lead.

No way, for the Mets to give away Glavine, We would have to give 1 of our outfield prospects: Borchard, Reed, Anderson or Sweeney. Not to mention a top flight pitching prospect, either Honel or Munoz.

But doesn't know OUR Gm's name I wasn't aware Tim Williams is our GM But nice to see his comments about Freddy G. and even Beltran.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball...0p-171436c.html Looking at their roster in AAA, the guy I think that could help us is Pat Strange, a former top-prospect for the Mets, maybe a change in scenery would do wonders for both.

What's the odds anyway of one in the same month? Sorry though

Thought you guys would like to know.

http://www.newsday.com/sports/columnists/n...orts-columnists I would really be pissed if this happens and Maggs walks, this new info is discourging, but since it is coming from New York I don't know how reliable it is concering us in Chicago. Just some more news, take it for what it's worth

So far not a lot of good news except, Reed with a 2-run homer and Andres Torres with 4 SB's, yeah 4.

All I see in the box scores is this guy hitting the ball extremely well right after Brice. Is he an older guy, not really a prospect anymore or what? Any info would be great, thanks.

He said when mentioning the Cubs interleague schedule, "And look who the Cubs get to face in interleague play, the Angels, the A's and the White Sox, 3 of the best teams in the AL" Nice to see the Sox getting their props.

Arnie Munoz is going to start today and so will Felix Diaz. I am curious to see how Feliz does and if his confidence is shaken.

There is no way the Royals trade Beltran in division. Only the Idiotic Pirates did that and look were the Cubs are and the Pirates are. The only conceivable player to get is Garcia. I would love Beltran, but ain't going to happen. Also, we don't have enough great minor league pitchers that we would need to get him. And I hate the rent-a-player.

Any guesses?

We would have a good shot at re-signig him because of his Ozzie connections. Borchard sucks, we need a better 5th starter.

1) Trade Paulie, Borchard and Diaz for Freddy Garcia (our rotation is complete) 2) Trade Rowand, Wunsch, Politte and some prospects for Sean Casey and Graves (later in the year, right now I go with Gload who is in the Doug Mienkiewski type mold 3) Bring up Jeremy Reed for Rowand 4) Finally, Kill the Twins the weekend!!! Any thoughts?

He has 6 quality starts, which is equal to anyone in the American League. So we get a guy whose #'s are better than Bartolo and is $12 million less.

So far the Twins have yet to play a team above 500

My bad , I must have skipped over them, when looking. Anyway, my point remains we have had a harder schedule -
Considering this, that we have played the Yankee and Orioles a combined 13 times and went 7-6, and that the Twins have yet to played either one of them. Not to mention they still have to play a good Toronto team again. I'd say as long as we don't are within 5 games at the break, we win the division. After the break the Sox get the easy part of their schedule and the Twins get the hard part. Any thoughts?

I go to New Trier, just a funny thing I guess.

I think he'll get promoted soon to AA and have that same kind of Jeremy Reed impact, less average, more power, though. I think both Reed and Sweeney are going to be studs and if we keep Maggs, we can trade Carlos for a good pitcher. any thoughts?

PITCHERS W-L SV ERA G GS CG SHO GF AB TBF IP H R ER BB IB SO HR HB WP Santiago, Jose 1- 1 4 0.95 10 0 0 0 5 65 68 19.0 9 2 2 2 1 11 0 0 0 His numbers are real good so far, and it's not like he a new guy. He did great with the Indians last year. I think we should bring him up for Politte, who has struggled a ton and has lost some games for us. Just my two cents. Any thoughts?

Let's just wait till we play the twinkies and then we can criticize if we want. But until then don't even worry about records. We are a second half team anyway, as it gets hot, so do out bats. These games will prove meaningless in the end; all we have to do is take care of the Twins when we play them.

I think Magglio is distracted, we need to sign him
