  1. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 09:24 PM) Wow Greasey, you might have the best avator on Soxtalk, LOVE IT. Ha thanks Tony. I just figured out how to do simple animation on photoshop. I stole the current Sox logo avatar button from Yahoo. However, I can take credit for the others.
  2. QUOTE(quickman @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 09:16 PM) There is a new show on TV called Numbers. You would love it.Its all about numbers. Right up your alley. Oh he knows. It's his biography.
  3. Awesome e-mail whitesoxin'. I hope you get a response. It'll be interesting to see how Neyer digs himself out of that hole.
  4. QUOTE(The Bones @ Jan 31, 2005 -> 03:31 AM) Thanks guys. Now it's off to sleep for I have a class in 5 1/2 hours. Happy Belated man. I hope you had a good one!
  5. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Jan 30, 2005 -> 12:04 AM) test Your avatar is the dreaded red X. Don't tell me you're losing your avatar.
  6. Okay...SoxTalk just hated me right there. It posted twice, w/ out posting the actual post.
  7. Who would ever think I would start a thread for Purdue? Though your allegiances are in the wrong place, you're a good poster. Have a good one!
  8. QUOTE(beck72 @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 10:17 AM) Willie "the team player" sure could help the Sox out as a role player, pinch runner, etc. He has a lot of talent. Whether he has the right attitude is the question. Exactly. That's why my stance on trading him or not is to not trade him. I think he can be a valuable asset off the bench.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 03:14 AM) I think this has already been posted The date of the article is Jan. 28. I don't think it could have been posted before then.

  11. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 12:31 AM) Baltimore's Rotation as of this moment; 1 - Sidney Ponson 2 - Rodrigo Lopez 3 - Daniel Cabrera 4 - Erik Bedard 5 - Matt Riley Is there 1 guy on that list who would get into our rotation at the moment? Maybe Ponson, but he's not even that special and his contract would make it worse.
  12. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) They'll continue to be b**** slapped by Yankees and Red Sox. Listening to Mike Murphy driving home from school, Angelos promised Orioles fans a "revamped team." and it appears he was willing to tango with Hendry. Sosa has feasted off weak NLC pitching for nearly his entire career, how can Angelos expect him to perform consistently against New York/Boston? I know it's been said somewhere, but the offense wasn't even Baltimore's problem. This does nothing but hurt them, even if Sosa exceeds expectations.
  13. Damn...I don't want to have to dislike Baltimore. I always pulled for them in that division. Sosa will make it hard to do so.
  14. Uh oh, Jeckle's going to get put in his place.... Welcome to the board!
  15. I haven't read the article yet, but what's the point if you're not going to be optimistic? Yes, I know you can take that to an extreme, but if you think in a pessimistic nature and just think the Sox aren't going to do anything, what would be the point of being a fan?
  16. He's probably the smart move. However, I wouldn't be mad to see him back in the organization.
  17. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 03:35 PM) My extreme loyalty to the Sox has me jaded. I don't think I can look at rankings like this objectively. I still think the White Sox had the best offseason in the AL Central and one of the top 10 in the MLB considering our budget. Agreed, and the majority of the 1200 voters so far in that poll feel the White Sox have had the best offseason too.
  18. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) Colin Hanks? I don't know what else he was in, but I know he was in "Orange County" a couple years ago.
  19. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 01:27 PM) Tom Hanks > Intercourse Rita wilson > Childbirth Colin Hanks I WIN!!!! LMAO
  20. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:40 AM) I gotta think he's regretting canceling all the farewell festivites in Cinncinati last season. Its quite a feat now-a-days to play your entire career in on uniform. Hats off to Barry. Nah..I'm positive Cincy will do something for him. He deserves it. Larkin's a classy guy.
  21. Haha, Brooks is definitely the man. That's genius!
  22. I was going through some Q&A's of the Sport Guy on ESPN.com...
