  1. I just started school on Monday; I moved in last Tuesday. I'm in Briscoe, which is on the north side of the campus; Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall are basically my back yard. I can see the baseball diamond, Sembower Field, out my window.
  2. That's one thing I don't get about IU. Notre Dame and Purdue pick from the same talent pool in state for a lot of the football players, yet IU can't put a decent team out there. At least ND and Purdue can put decent b-ball teams out there too. I don't know though, IU really puts solid teams out for every other sport.
  3. Don't mess with Indiana.
  4. That'd definitely hurt UI some, but I still think they've got enough talent to where this wouldn't hinder them that much.
  5. Agreed, a little bit. I feel us going 3-3 or maybe 4-2 on that stretch; I really see us being under the radar after last season. I feel these new guys that are coming in, improving this team by a million times. The defense won't be able to just worry about Bracey anymore. I've been drinking a lot of red kool-aid down here though. We'll see; I'm psyched for the season to start.
  6. Yeah, Davis has said some pretty crazy "in the moment" quotes. He's calmed down with those in the past couple years, and understandibly so. You can't talk much with a 14-15 record. I'm really hoping to get tickets to especially that game down here. That's on my birthday, that'd be a great birthday present. Tickets should be going on sale for the season pretty soon.
  7. I can't wait for the lovely comments..... http://iuhoosiers.com/mensbasketball/news/...-05schedule.pdf
  8. A-Row's had the most solid season in his amount of games played, but if Frank maintained his numbers all season without injury, I'd given it to him.
  9. I feel the same way. The cool thing though is if we can change the team to have a lot of Ozzie ball type players, they don't even have to be big names, I'd really like our chances. We all know our starting rotation isn't that far off if we can add a quality arm to the top or middle of the rotation.
  10. Yeah, man! I think it should work out well. I really wanted a roommate, because I feel that's all part of the experience of going off to college. However, scoring my own room is going to be pretty sweet!
  11. Something similar happened to me. My roommate already decided he doesn't like it here, kind of sad since classes haven't just started today. I feel bad for the guy, but I just scored myself a double to myself. My room will officialy become the hang out room down here. Good times. And on that note, classes have begun. Damn, it feels weird. We've been down here almost a week without any classes. The party has ended .....for now....
  12. Robin was a class guy here. He was probably my 2nd favorite Sox player during his tenure here. He's had a good career.
  13. As it's been said a couple times, that's not doing much for us. Would Burnitz have taken us to the World Series?
  14. What good would he do the Sox now? I'm not getting this one.

That's kind of cool to see that the archive shot was about 2 years ago, and Jason has a thread in the Pale Hose forum saying he wanted the Sox to get Contreras.
  16. True.....but another thing...That team was so special Jordan, Bird, Magic > Shaq, Kobe, T-Mac
  17. I start classes that day.... I love this place.
  18. Happy Birthday to another Hoosier fan!
  19. CW, I hope this isn't the last time we ever see you post here. I understand it's going to be and would be a difficult thing to come back here. However, I never had a problem with you; you were a great poster and I really liked the way you could lift our spirits with a light post after a Sox loss or what not. If you don't come back, take care CW.
  20. Well that lasted long.
  21. That's Bloomington pissant, to you!
