  1. Surprising it happened this late in this process, his dad was definitely the one with the final say on that. From what I understand and saw, Shaw really wanted to stay. Best of luck Joey. And with all the recruits we're talking to with the 2008 class, I really hope we just keep his scholarship in our pocket for next year.
  2. QUOTE(Brian @ May 15, 2007 -> 09:51 PM) Where is Texas and Tampa Bay playing? Looks like a minor league field. Orlando, FL.
  3. LIES. Philip B. Elfstrom Stadium is a baseball field located in Geneva, Illinois. The stadium was built in 1991 and holds 7,400 people. It is the home of the Kane County Cougars.
  4. Amare and Diaw w/ 1 game each. Horry w/ 2.
  5. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ May 15, 2007 -> 01:24 PM) I don't hear that very often. Where've you heard that more than once or twice? It's been all over, but most recently that stupid study that was performed. However, it all makes no sense, since Hank Aaron owns the record. If this was Griffey a handful of HRs away from the record, this would be a lot better and bigger thing for baseball.
  6. QUOTE(Brian @ May 14, 2007 -> 08:49 PM) Has Lebron always had those tattoo's on his arms? I am just noticing them for some reason. Yep, remember the weird cover-ups he had to wear on his arm in HS, b/c of his tattoos.

  8. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 14, 2007 -> 07:28 PM) I'm stuck on the 30th one in bloons. The brain one didn't catch my interest. Only got to about the mid-30s after a few tries but it gets boring having to rush through the first ones you know already to get to where you left off. Pop the top right ice balloon, so you have something to ricochet off of, and then you will be able to bounce and destroy the stuff on the left.
  9. It's no Bloons or More Bloons. I'm the master of this game. Bloons 2 will be coming out soon; I'm pumped.
  10. QUOTE(JuiceCruz16 @ May 14, 2007 -> 03:46 PM) Hamga goes with UNLV. A bit of a surprise, but he's a Runnin Rebel. AWESOME. Supposedly UK pissed off his guardian with the stalking and messages people did to his myspace, facebook, etc.
  11. http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=263990044 Check out the link... This fan was heckling Griffey at a Dodger game. Griffey started to notice the guy, and said a few things back to the guy, calling him fat and saying he couldn't touch the threads of his jock. The fan said a few things back to Griffey, and after the 6th, Griffey goes over to the guy with a brown paper bag, not leaving until he opens it. Once he opens it, everyone starts laughing, as it's literally Griffey's jock strap. Awesome stuff.
  12. Alright... I didn't get to see DeShaun Thomas in person. All of his games were at either of the Bloomington High Schools, and we ended up setting post at Assembly. However, some people behind us saw his early morning game, and they couldn't stop talking about him. They said he had something like 36 and 12 in his 9:15 game. If he stays in Fort Wayne (there's not very legit rumors that he might transfer to Lawrence North in Indy), James Hardy's all-time points mark is in jeopardy. Heads, you can have Tyler Zeller, though if he goes anywhere--it'll most likely be Purdue. Matt Painter's been stalking the guy since 8th grade. The guy is a nice size inside presence, behind 6-11 or 7-0. However, I wasn't very impressed; his game was pretty soft from what I saw. He was serviceable in the paint--getting boards and dropping in 0 footers, but I'd like to see him bulk up some more and strengthen his game. I just want to note to remember the name Emmanuel Negedu. He was also on Indiana Elite, and he's going to Arizona in the 2008 class. He could do it all inside and out, and he looked like an NBA player on that roster. And after the two games I saw him in yesterday, I'll be pretty ecstatic for IU to get Devin Ebanks. He was amazing yesterday. He was extremely athletic and all facets of his game were really strong--ball handling, movement, defense, etc. He didn't make a lot of shots from outside of the paint but ended with 30 something in the first game and 20 something in the second. He had to have a pretty bad shooting day, because from what I've read, he's known to be a good shooter. Shots just weren't falling for him, but I don't feel that would happen with regularity for him. From internet postings, it sounds like he'll be making a decision by no later than June. Hopefully everything points this to be a successful visit.
  13. We were at Yogi's last night, when Devin Ebanks, EJ, DJ, Stemler, Thomas, etc. all came in. It was pretty cool; they got a nice little reception from everyone. My friend and I are heading to Assembly in a few to check out some games with DeShaun Thomas (2010), Tyler Zeller (2008), Devin Ebanks (2008) etc. Also, I saw DeAndre Thomas for the first time in person yesterday. The dude is a big boy, but seeing him in person was a lot more assuring than reading what he looked like. He'll definitely need to lose some poundage, but he seems like he can be a nice presence in the paint.
  14. Have a good one!
  15. That's very cool Mr. Eye, congrats on getting back into that and completing the Indy.
  16. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 11, 2007 -> 12:22 AM) No joke, Stu Scott was just going over the Sox-Twins highlights, and as the slide play was shown it went something like this.... "Now Pablo Ozuna up, knocks a base hit to RF, Mike Sweetney comes into score on a great slide to make it 3-0." I kid you not. That's ESPN's f*** up, not Stu's. Because they called him Mike on the 6 PM SC too.
  17. Willie probably doesn't have his hand anymore.
  18. Crazyness.
  19. Haha, happy birthday!

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 9, 2007 -> 03:15 AM) Idonno, they say if a number 4 comes out a character that might have seemed to be dead might not be. Obviously that means venom. I wouldn't mind seeing Carnage in the 4th, if there is one.
  21. Devin Ebanks (2008 *****) will be visiting with IU this weekend, as he is in town for an AAU tournament.
  22. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 6, 2007 -> 07:34 PM) daaayum, The Big Hurt had a grand slam, Maggs and Konerko both had 2 homeruns. Must have been a fun game. Oh ya, I remember it vividly. Frank's bomb was off the fair pole in left towards the UD.
