They literally have 5 or more aces on their staff.

If we can just bring up Quero to hit in walk-off situational AB's against big-name teams, and then not see him any other times, I'd be fine with that. Though I'd rather see him at the plate than Romo. Romo is allegedly really good working with our pitchers? Might be his only saving grace.

Doesn’t surprise me, Getz said they wouldn’t be giving up prospects for rentals

I would love this to be true.

John is actually growing on me. Did not like his style at all at first and he still has his cringe moments. However I think he has improved. That southside stand up needs to stop though, it ruins the moment. I thought he was done with it then he said it recently. While I’m starting to like the guy, I think I’d be fine if they went another direction, with someone who is proven to be good at announcing and someone that works well with Steve. I actually like Steve a lot.

I think Plesac is a good partner for John. They seem to work well together.

Oh I always associated skyline chili with Cincinatti

Why the Reds lol

We should be serious contenders now for the World Series. We have shown we can beat anyone at any point.

perreirraaaa

Hopefully not Friday I’ll be at that game

Excellent job by Kay. Plesac said the Rays were what 16-1 against lefties at home? Just a phenomenal job.

Wrong thread

HUGE hit.

Damn our pitching has been magnificent the last handful of games. Would be nice if they can stretch this performance out for the final 2 months and into the postseason.

Thought he got hurt like as soon as they picked him up

Plesac telling her to throw one of the kids in the tank 😂

I thought it was fine. Kind of interesting actually.

15 pitches through 2. That dog will hunt.

His walk rate is currently higher than any of his other seasons. Currently walking 2.9/9 where it was 2.6, 2.4 and 2.3 the last 3 seasons. k rate is lower but not by much which I guess is good, striking out almost 8 batters per nine innings. The home run rate (1.4/9) and hit rate (9.7/9!) are what alarms me the most. Unless he turns things around we’re going to see a lot of traffic on the bases when he takes the mound Hopefully Getz isn’t finished with acquiring pitchers Stats from baseball reference.

Wild times. The Dodgers are like the mlb team you create on franchise mode in the show and you set the mode settings to be able to acquire anyone you want whenever you want however you want

Is that Jim Thome’s other son?

They’re going to go quietly aren’t they

Time to s%*# or get off the pot. And I’d rather they s%*#

I had a work conference one year where they had it in Phoenix in August. I tried stepping out for some air at like 6AM and it was like walking in an oven. Just miserable.
