Dave Roberts said at his press conference the other day that removing Shohei was purely precautionary and that he fully expected him to be in the lineup on Friday (today).

Good to see Colson back in the lineup. I really hope his back issues don't destroy his career like it did with Crede. The kid has 400-plus homerun potential and maybe more if he can play most of a 15 year career. Health will determine that. I wonder if they eventually just DH him to save his back and protect what brings the most value to the game, his bat.

Dear God why did I go to bed lol. should have known better. Goosebumps watching these highlights. Have not yet experienced the Sox like this as an adult fan. Sure is amazing. Love these guys.

Lost both of their challenges in the 4th. Dumb.

I respectfully disagree with both of these comments. Playing the other central teams for so many games got really old, at least for me. I got so tired of seeing the royals and guardians so often. I think interleague is fantastic for the game, although I am one that also likes to follow the rest of the league as I believe it enhances my fan experience. The Phillies, while they are older, have a lot of interesting names to watch and follow. Interleague is bringing Ohtani and the rest of the Dodgers to town next weekend, which is fantastic. I for one am ecstatic to see how our Sox match up with the best teams in baseball, two of arguably the best happen to be in the NL (ATL and LAD). Should be a great test.

God so am I. His Sox fandom is so apparent. I hope one day he’s on our broadcast team. He seemed to indicate on a podcast with Chuck a few months ago that he would be really interested in doing so.

Will if Hill ends up going on the IL we’ll probably see B-Mont come up

Murakami, Vargas, Colson, Antonacci, Martin, Vasil and his magic wand

I find this interesting when juxtaposing this year’s team to the winning TA teams. Those TA teams only won when he was on the field. Murakami is our star now, and now that he’s out it doesn’t appear the team is in despair because of it. And I think that’s a sign that this team may be in a much healthier place than those TA teams. Can’t just rely on one guy in the sport of baseball.
