  1. The sad thing about this game is..... if the Bills do lose, Dick Jauron will only say something like "go ahead, king their butts" "they are who we believed them to be."
  2. BAAAAAAD ROMO...... 5 INTS...... Cowboys on the door step again. ROMO THROWS ANOTHER PICK 5 INTS 1 FUMBLE
  3. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 10:10 PM) Of course... it can't just be "Romo's having a bad game," it's "He's having a Rex Grossman game!" I wonder how many years Rex will be brought up when a QB is turning the ball over all day... unfortunately.... I think it may be a while.
  4. Bad Romo..... fumbles trying to scramble while the bills are driving for a possible game trying drive.
  5. Tony Romo is beginning to look a lot like an Old Brett Favre. John Madden still loves both of them.
  6. Good Romo / Bad Romo Tim Colishaw needs to start beating this drum now before some other hack journalist in Texas does.
  7. Romo vs. Bills = Grossman vs. Cards this will be a fun season if he continues to blow.
  8. Romo has 4 ints in the first half..... 2 returned for TD's is this the beginning of Good Romo / Bad Romo..... I can only hope. PUT IN BRAD JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Frank is slightly more comfortable than Maggs was during those old Pepsi 1/2 price friday commercials.... Frank needs a little more camera time, me thinks.
  10. Isiah Thomas = Disgrace on and off court Chick Isiah assualted = William Perry with a vagina
  11. this is going to be appealed.... should be interesting to see if she gets anything.
  12. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 12:13 AM) Danny told me you were there too I was.... how could something so wrong feel so Wright..... *cue rimshot*
  13. Schowenweis, Gary Glover, Danny Wright had sleepovers where they would take turns sticking each other in the ass with steroids.... then playing the popcorn bucket on the lap trick. its rather homoerotic.... not that thats a bad thing.
  14. AJP a whitesox for a couple more years? sounds good to me.
  15. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 11:27 PM) They broadcasted 5 or so home games in HD last year. Certainly not 41, but there were a few. This year, zero. I can't stand to listen to any more 'Wirtz was a great guy' stories. Hell I'm sure he was a nice guy in person. However I really don't care, as he ruined the thing that actually affected me and thousands of others. He ran a hockey town into the ground. Being a 'good guy' doesn't change that. Period. No one wants somebody to outright die, but a passing of ownership is reason to celebrate. And Steve, that's kind of funny about the front office. Again, that's gotta be Wirtz's choice just to skimp out on having more people on board and doing things the right way. He can say all he wants about how he wanted to win, blah blah, but it's a bunch of bulls***. If he truly wanted to win he could have done dozens of things differently over the past 15 years alone. By 'wanting to win' I think of it as he just would have rather won than lost. The Blackhawks were a sideshow toy to him compared to his other businesses. At least now there is reason for optimism. Nothing's guaranteed to change, but with Bill nothing was ever going to change. At least the door is open. Someone walk in. Wanting to win.... and knowing how to win are two different things. Bill Wirtz wanted to win but had no idea how to run a hockey team, especially these past years. The Hawks have spent money lately on the team.... just on the wrong players. Just as they did when Smith was the GM, when Murray was the GM, and throughout the entire time when Pulford has been involved. just my .02
  16. While I fully understand the feelings people have about Mr. Wirtz's business practices..... hockey is hockey, and life is life. I think he is directly responsible for the downfall of the blackhawks, but i can't help but feel sorry for a family that lost its patriarch. In regards to the tv contract situation, I know that Peter Wirtz, the teams current Vice President, has had contracts on the table... brought them to his father and had them rejected. From what I understand this is a annual occurrence. I'm not sure that Peter will stick with his previous feelings on the matter... but take what it for what its worth.
  17. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Sep 13, 2007 -> 05:22 PM) "When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add Ice." genius.
  18. QUOTE(bmags @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 11:58 PM) it's not much of a feud. Fiddy was even in the studio with kanye during the making of his album and kanye quotes him warmly in one of his songs. Kanye has stated he's a fan of fiddy. They even showed up on stage at the VMA's together. "When I heard that thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing. When my albums drops and 50's album drops, you're gonna get a lot of good music at the same time." - kanye west. “Its not possible for Kanye to beat me, I don’t know why I said that. Its like the teddy bear vs. the gorilla. Def Jam [West’s label] is going to buy about 200,000 of Kanye’s records. Kanye sucks, I’m going to be honest, he sounds like a robot, he has a robot record.” - "Fiddy" Your right though, they dont really hate eachother... they went to the "diddy" school of economics, and are drumming up publicity in order to sell some records. It's like professional wrestlers who like bling... and b****es.
  19. QUOTE(bmags @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 10:17 PM) right, nobody would turn into a music award show to see an artist with one of the top singles of the summer. Good point. Seriously, are you going to try and make an argument that Kanye would have been a bigger draw than Britney Spears? I hate the VMA's, and I even tuned in for the first 10 minutes to see what that hillbilly was going to do, I imagine i wasn't the only one. Britney Spears stumbling around the stage like a retard is still relevant... next year it might not be. Kanye would be better off trying to make his hilarious "feud" with "Fiddy" seem less like a marketing scheme to sell albums.
  20. QUOTE(kwolf68 @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 12:07 PM) I hate the idea of dealing Garland for just a couple of relief pitchers...if we get another player like Ianetta in a multi-player deal then I'd be interested depending on what else is involved. i feel the same way.... we have alot of holes and it would be nice to get something out of Jon, but im not sure there is a big market for our guys out there.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 5, 2007 -> 07:45 AM) BTW, forget Gonzalez, just start Alex Cintron at third for the rest of the season. wow..... things are really bad.
