The only sports ticker I have is from ESPN...can you use that without getting in trouble from them?

Isn't it the responsibility of news outlets like 60 Minutes to report news, not to create news? This story somewhat crosses that line. Sometimes it seems that people forget that we are AT WAR! I am not defending the torture of those Iraqis by any stretch of the imagination, but, I don't see how the US benefits by having such a story televised.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, isn't Brazil the country that offerred safe haven to several Nazi war criminals after WW II?

#1) I think LaRussa is way overrated as a manager; he manages 100% "by the book". Bring in the lefty to face a lefty hitter, vice versa. Anyone can manage like that. #3) Re. the "cork" issue, if I was a manager facing the sCrUBS, I would have the umpires examine Sosa's bats anytime he got a homerun or a hit against my team. a) He's already been busted once; AND B) It would piss him off and get into his head. I don't know why opposing managers have yet to ask to have his bats examined.

I think that the main problems with the Sox are: 1) Everyone seems to be "swinging for the fences". Whatever happenned to "small ball"? 2) Our starters have been "shaky" at best. Even Loiaza at 4-0. The aren't holding leads, and are walking too many hitters.

Before we annoint Ozzie as the next Casey Stengel, remember that the Sox had the exact same won-loss record last year at this time (under Manuel).

We should probably package Valentin and Wunsch in a trade for a pitcher, or a left handed bat off the bench. I'd hate to trade Wunsch, but where are the Sox gonna put him? (Besides, he's the Sox player rep, and we have a history of dumping our player reps.)

Anyone who thinks that if a "pali" terrorist commits an atrocity against Israel, and Israel doesn't retaliate, that the "palis" wouldn't do it again is very naive or insane or just plain ignorant. When will Israel's right to defend herself be "justified" in the eyes of the world?

Are you saying Israel shouldn't have killed Yassin and/or Rantisi? What I said was, when someone says "you killed Yassin, now we will commit a hundred acts of vengeance" against you, don't believe for a minute that these acts weren't planned BEFORE yassin was killed. You can't be that naive.

If Arafat were standing in front of me, I'd shoot him in his face. If I happenned to hit someone who was standing beside him, I'd keep shooting til I killed Arafat. Sometimes ya gotta do what accomplishes the "greater good". Say for example you could have killed Hitler, but in doing so, you'd have to kill a couple hundred innocent people, but you'd save 12 million lives...what would YOU do?
