Ladies and Gentlemen: It has come to my attention that Soxtalk.com has temporarily suspended "Steve Bartman is My Idol", for allegedly posting "blatant lies" on the site. (BTW, he is my brother...we are not the same person. He is a die hard Sox fan, is extremely knowledgable about baseball, and is distraught (yeah right!!!) about his suspension! This is problematic to me for the following reasons: 1) There are only a "million or so" trade rumors posted on Soxtalk.com on a daily basis, 99.9% of which are unsubstantiated. 2) You have "posters" like Apu, for example, who is allowed to spout off his "knowledge" on a myriad of topics, much of which he knows little or nothing about. 3) You have other "posters" who attempt to abuse and mock others, use derogatory and/or inflammatory and/or offensive language towards others; they are not censored or suspended. Please explain your policies for suspensions on your site. It is my understanding that we live in the USA, where we still enjoy Freedom of Speech and other such freedoms...maybe I'm wrong.

Boston MIGHT do this deal, because Frank is a LOT better than any of the 3-4 guys mentioned! He'd be a HUGE upgrade over Ortiz, Daubach, Burks, and/or Millar!!! Now with A-Rod on the Yankees, the Bosox could use a HUGE upgrade!

1. If JR/KW had any "grapefruits" at all, THEY would offer Maddux a 1-year, $10 million deal. They'd be pulling a big PR coup over the cubs, and would have a 5th starter/pitching coach on their staff! 2. I think you have to give Steinbrenner credit. Where Reinsdorf says he wants to bring a championship to the South Side, Steinbrenner does something about it! I know that the economics between the Sox and the Yankees are as different as night and day, but, George will do whatever it takes to bring a championship to New York. Major League Baseball has become akin to a game of high stakes poker...if you don't have the bankroll, you can't sit at the "big table". My problem with JR is, I know he has the bankroll, he just won't spend it! The solution...SELL JERRY, SELL!!!!
