  1. I got to try on a World Series ring today It looks sooo much better in person.
  2. So if I make a post now and then make another one right after that, they will combine? If so, I didn't know of this new feature. Is that it? Whoa!
  3. This is Maroth's line from yesterday per rotoworld. I'm fairly sure his ERA was not 540.00.
  4. World Series trophy comes basically to my backyard tomorrow!! Has anyone else gotten a thank you e-mail from the White Sox after buying tickets? Our organization is so classy.
  5. I see no similarities whatsoever. The Cubs were down by 2 with runners on the corners, and we were tied already. Worst case scenario for Pablo's AB was a tie game. Worst case for Nefi was obviously a loss by two. Best case scenario on his bunt was putting his team down only one with 2 outs in the 9th still needing another hit. Incredibly stupid play by Nefi, good heads up play (maybe risky) by Pablo.
  6. If we do well on the next road trip, we are going to keep selling out most of the games through June at least. Three division leaders (as of now) come to town, and then the Astros (rematch of WS) and Indians (rival). Then comes July. The week of the 4th brings BAL to town, might be iffy there, but it's going to be the heart of the summer. Boston is already sold out, then Texas again followed by the Twins. I wouldn't be suprised if we don't have a non-sellout until KC in the middle of August. It's a far stretch, but a possibility.
  7. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 25, 2006 -> 10:47 PM) The Astros stole 7 bases on LeCroy. This forced Robinson to pull LeCroy out IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INNING! After the game, Robinson comepletly broke down crying because he felt that he severely embaressed his player. IMO, Robinson's crying made the siatuation much worse. He actually cried???
  8. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ May 24, 2006 -> 09:20 PM) Ozzie:jenks f***in saved you! bobby How'd he save oz?
  9. Anybody remember Dye bringing a home run back? You could say it's even now, just don't b**** about it.
  10. That was a quick decision to take him out. Must have been a concusion..
  11. Those bad ass mother f***er avatars are confusing me with everyone having it. You should all get pictures of yourselves sleeping in the outfield at the Cell for your avatar. Wow I thought that was gone. At least it's a double.
  12. QUOTE(SnB @ May 24, 2006 -> 06:44 PM) not buying alot of food is fine, but c'mon, you gotta have at least one dog at a game. Those dogs with onions are to die for. When it's $20 for gas, $18 for parking, plus the price of tickets, it's hard for me to give up money for overpriced food. When my parents start giving me money or I get more, then I'll eat more. Plus, I'm as picky an eater as you will find and I don't like anything much other than the nachos and hot dogs.
  13. That Ozzie commercial was pretty good. "It looks good and gets the job done...does that sound like anybody you know?"
  14. If Russ Ortiz, the former 20 game winner, can get his s*** together, the D-Backs rotation will be fairly decent.
  15. I never eat at the games. I stop at Little Ceasar's and buy a $5 pizza to split with either my dad or a friend, whichever one I'm going to the game with. You get a whole pizza for the price of one slice. Then I just take some bottled waters from home. It saves a lot of money and time in the lines.

    ACT Jitters

Congrats SF1. Just wondering, what percentile is that in? May 31 is the day I get my SAT results back.
  17. 5 straight sell out. 11th of the year. It's going to be a fun fun fun f***ing summer at the Cell. The place is rocking. This team is so amazing at everything.
  18. I thought it was very classy that the White Sox did that. 24 hours later and I'm still pumped from that game.
  19. That's an awesome sweatshirt. That lady came around to us last night but I was in the middle of the section and didn't get my picture taken.
  20. The organization was very classy in putting that video montage on the board when he was about to come up. I think that's one of the reasons why the ovation was so huge. It reminded all the people planning on booing of all that he had done for 16 years. I was screaming my lungs off for him, but very confused as to how I should act when he hit the home run. I initially cheered loudly, but then realized we were now losing the game. I think the boos recieved in the later ABs were acceptable because he's "officially" an Athletic now, and I would boo a player who has a home run or two against us. That being said, I still did a golf clap on all of his at bats. For those who were at the game, what was with the little kid announcing the players? That sort of ruined his second at bat, and I think some of the people booing were booing because she sucked at announcing. Gene Honda is the man.
  21. I just got back from the game, what an experience. It worked out soo perfectly with Thomas getting a standing O, two HRs, come from behind win, Jenks shutting the door, Mack becoming a White Sox, and Pablo pulling the squeeze. Can't forget the Squirrel or Ozzie randomly being ejected either. I was on my feet from the 8th inning until the victory was sealed.
  22. I finally got home from a weekend on the road and I'm watching the Tivod game from today. I saw this sign and thought it was very clever. That is all.
