  1. Anytime I hear about people abusing and mistreating children like this it makes my blood boil. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/02/03/family.torture/index.html
  2. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 11:29 PM) And FREE whores on Sunday too!!!! WHERE!?

    Giving More

    That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO true.
  4. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) This is no game to me Nuke. Just because I'm not in the s*** doesn't mean I can't smell it. I'm working within my party to create the positive change that this country deserves. And I have family and friends over there doing things they shouldn't have to be doing because of a foreign policy that is contrary to what America is and should be. We had three days of "Gee, everything in Iraq is just gonna be great now" all over the news because an election went well in two thirds of the country, after the US Army basically blocked every road in every city to do it. Although this election could be a huge turning point for the Iraqis, it's way too soon to announce everything's just peachy over there. If people aren't reminded that problems still exist, they will never be fixed. I never said the election was going to be the end of all Iraq's problems but it's a big step.
  5. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:59 PM) We should not have been there and it is a sadness that Chimpy in Chief said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction...or was it weapons of mass destruction related programs....or was it weapons of mass destruction related program activities? Fact is at best Bush and his administration was terribly incompetent taking stovepiped information from notoriously unreliable Iraqi groups and Iranian and Israeli spies all the while the PNAC neo-cons egging the war closer because they've wanted it since the mid-1990s. At worst, he was complicit in allowing this to go forward knowing that there were no WMD and he lied to the nation. So, take your pick. I choose none of the above. We've had intelligence that these people were cooking up stuff for years and it came from the CIA through aerial reconnaissance and through defectors who worked in Saddams WMD programs. Those "assets" you speak of were a small piece of the equation. People in government, including most prominent Democrats, had been saying for years the exact same things Bush was saying. Iraq was a major threat and needed to be dealt with, including John Kerry and Al Gore. The only difference between W and all those prominient leftists is that he actually did something about it. I wonder if you would have been this upset if Bill Clinton had gone into Iraq back in the fall of 1998 like we were about a hairs breadth from doing.
  6. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:59 PM) On a good night for O'Reilly, he has 2.5 million viewers. At the same time span, CNN might have a million, MSNBC - usually around 500,000. That's a total of 4 million viewers. CBS has the lowest rated network news program. It has, on a bad night, 7-8 million viewers. I never said anything about O'Reilly or HANNITY andcolmes being a real news show. I called it a fake news show. Just like crossfire, scarborough country, the daily show and entertainment tonight. It's not any kind of a news show. It's a discussion forum.
  7. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:55 PM) Nuke, don't whine about violence when you're in the military -- especially after Lt. Gen. James Mattis, came in at a panel discussion in San Diego...He said in reference to fighting insurgents in Iraq. He went on to say, "Actually, its a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot. I like brawling. You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for 5 years because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis continued. "You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them." "I was a little surprised," said Retired Vice Adm. Edward H. Martin. "I don't think any of us who have ever fought in wars liked to kill anybody." http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/4153541/detail.html So who is the violence important to again Nuke? That was a stupid comment, obviously, and even you must realize that it's representative of only a tiny fraction of servicemen/women.
  8. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) I would think if this is a war, the violence would be pretty damn important NUKE. Last time I checked, wars weren't fought with pillows and feathers. For you guys this is a game. HEY! Look how many died today! It's almost a source of glee for you guys because you can sit there and point and yell about how we shouldn't be there.
  9. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:35 PM) Whatever, I'm just going to post important news about Iraq in here. And I encourage others to do the same. Like so many of your kind the violence is all that's important.
  10. So are you the score keeper for the number killed by insurgents?
  11. http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/02/03/...food/index.html So that's one that's defenitely had his hands in the cookie jar, lets see who else was snacking with him.
  12. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) Just looking at the Fox News schedule they're on half the time from 6-12pm. What's on the major networks during most of that time frame? Oh that's right. Garbage sitcoms and stupid reality shows.
  13. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) I resent your implications about the ghetto, Joe Rog-- er, Jeckle. Is it time for the 5 o'clock crack giveaway yet!?!?!?!?
  14. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) You act as though Cable News Networks are the be-all end-all. If you put the audience of FOX news CNN MSNBC all together on an average night, you have half the audience, if that, of the CBS Evening News. I REAAAAAALLLLLLLLLY doubt thats true.
  15. QUOTE(winodj @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 10:37 AM) I'm sorry exactly where am I getting that liberal viewpoint on fake news tv shows like O'Reilly and HANNITY and colmes? I'm not. CNN has got the closest to any of that - and that's called Crossfire where there's balance between a left wing hack and a right wing hack. MSNBC has Scarborough Country and didn't they just hire Tucker Carlson - who has his own show on PBS, for Christ sakes. CNBC has Dennis Miller. The so called "liberal media" doesn't have a liberal voice on it worth a damn as far as I can see. BTW: I didn't watch the State of the Union. I was too busy working. For the last time. Hannity and Colmes, Oreilly.......anything like them are NOT NEWS SHOWS!!! They DISCUSS the news. They provide COMMENTARY!
  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 09:37 AM) That explains it then. he couldn't admit being shot down, so he had to blame the cops. Social ineptitude is the fault of the overzelous, fascist police stormtroopers who dared to enforce the underage drinking laws on a Wednesday. DAMMIT!! When's the protest scheduled!!! NO JUSTICE NO PEACE!!!
  17. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 09:18 AM) Cock-blocked? If he had really been making any progress with this chick, getting kicked out of the bar would seem like a good excuse to have to head over to his or her place. LOL! I bet he tried just that and got shot down.
  18. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 06:09 AM) For 6 years I have been doing the job and seems like every day that I hear something or see something new that makes me shake my head in disbelief. And after reading your post, today is no different, and it's my day off. shagar, I don't know where your at and I can't speak for the police force there, but you got off easy. I hope when you sober up and read this today, you realize how stuid that really was. I'm very thick skinned, so the f*** the police comments and everything else do not bother me. But, I will never figure out stupidity. Sorry for the rant, but I'm just shaking my head :headshake Little punk was obviously just a little pissed that he got cock-blocked last night. I mean god forbid a small matter like the law get in the way of him macking on some chick.
  19. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 02:32 AM) You guys just cannot stand that there is a television station that gives the conservative viewpoint. For the first 30 or so years of my life, you could not get this point of view from radio or TV unless it was on "Meet the Press" or similar show. Of course, you'd had to listen to the liberal rhetoric as well. I think it's about damn someone started putting it out there and making all the left wing dings squirm.
  20. QUOTE(Cali @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 02:25 AM) It probably doesn't help that the band used to be called Burn the Priest either Yeah, I can see how religous folks would be somewhat offended by something like that. :rolly
  21. QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 01:35 AM) "The venue, The Forum in Los Angeles, is owned by The Faithful Central Bible Church who decided to impose a ruling to BAN LAMB OF GOD from performing at their venue." ummmm, I hate religious fanatics as much as the next guy but they own the place. I hate when the whole free speech argument gets thrown around like a dirty whore, they own the motherf***er, they can tell whoever the f*** they want that they're not welcome in their arena.
  22. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) equals That's about the funniest thing I've seen all week.
  23. QUOTE(shagar69 @ Feb 3, 2005 -> 01:11 AM) i was at a bar tonite, talkin to this chick, and the f***in cops have to show up. they caught like 6 people underage drinking, pretty much forcing anybody who wasnt 21 to leave. WTF is that. I mean cmon, its a wed. night. Leave us the f*** alone. f*** THA POLICE! No. f*** you! You were breaking the law and they were doing their job.
  24. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 2, 2005 -> 11:03 PM) Had I seen it earlier I would of. Thought it was a good speach though. OMG, laughed my ass off when I saw Sharpton on FoxNews afterwords. God the guy is a retard. What was the moron saying?
  25. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 2, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) http://www.drinkinggame.us/ The State of the Union is tonight so its time for the old tradition of the State of the Union drinking game. Did anyone actually play? LOL. I might have if I wasn't working tomorrow.
