  1. You know what I find that is really f***ed up? The media give people like Micheal Moore and those bomb throwing radical leftist websites like MoveOn.org a total pass when they use words like "deserter" and "AWOL" or when they use words like "coke head" and "alcoholic" to describe the President but when a group buys some time on TV and starts questioning Kerry's Vietnam story and calling him out on his hypocrasies they leave no stone unturned in criticizing these people and trying to disprove what they say ( unsuccessfully I might add ).
  2. It's not about veteran votes though. It's the blatant hypocrasy from this man that is the issue.
  3. You mention Bronze Stars? They were, in fact, handed out like candy during Iraqi Freedom. I dont know how it was in Vietnam though.
  4. When it comes to Kerry and what he may have done or not done in Vietnam I really dont care about that. He went there and did his time and came back. Good for him. What he did after the war is why I despise the man. He came home, got in front of the Senate and TV cameras and basically labeled U.S. combat troops as murderers and baby killers and fabricated stories about atrocities he said he saw in Vietnam. If that wasn't enough he went to the U.S. Capitol and threw the medals he's now so proud of away along with other protestors. If that wasn't enough now this guy, after protesting so hard against the war and savaging U.S. troops who served there, is running on his war record. Now that it's cool to be an American soldier again, he wants to thump his chest like he's some great warrior or something. Please. You can't have it both ways Mr. Kerry. There's a reason why those swift boat ads are having such an effect on him and it's making Kerry nervous cause they are costing him points with veterans.
  5. Those intelligence reports saying that the Fedayeen were wearing civillian clothes were totally accurate as the attached picture indicates. This was taken by me as we rolled north up highway 8 toward Baghdad on April 5th of last year. Those uniforms discarded on the side of the road are uniforms of the Iraqi Republican guard. Additionally, my unit and several others that we worked closely with in that area captured Iraqi soldiers who were carrying a set of civillian clothes on their person as they went into combat with us. When interrogated they said that they were planning to move forward in uniform, make a hit and run attack on our forces as they moved forward and then change into civvies and melt into the local population and escape to fight again later. The Marine in the interview failed to mention that fact and he also failed to mention, or simply didn't know about several instances at U.S. checkpoints where Iraqi civillians came to our soldiers purporting to need help and actually did detonate a car full of explosives, as he mentioned he heard reports of or, as happened to one soldier from the Army's 3d Infantry Division, shot him in the head at point blank range when the soldier came forward to see what the driver's problem was. There were many more instances like that involving "civillians" opening fire on U.S. troops and fake surrenders by Iraqi military forces. Did some innocent people die over there? Of course, that's part of war but I can hardly blame U.S. troops for being trigger happy when their own die under such circumstances as I mentioned in the last paragraph. Additionally, for the word "genocide" to come into play is totally ludicrous.
  6. We in the military have a few small presents for them.........they can come individually or in bursts of 3......and they come from a slick looking dispenser pictured below.
  7. I like Garland as the permanent answer to the no.5 question. Now all we need to do is sign one more starter in the off season and we'll be set in our rotation next season. With all the new cash that should be available with the albatross contracts of Billy Botch and Jose Valentin soon to be gone added to the increased attendance this season we should be in good shape to do just that.
  8. If john Kerry is looking for a no-s*** reason ( among several ) why health care costs so much in this country he need look no farther than his right hand man. John Edwards.......trial lawyer.......who made himself an 8 figure fortune suing, among others, health care providers. If Congress would pass tort reform a major cost factor for insurers and providers would be much less of a problem and costs would begin to come down. I realize that there are people who have legitimate gripes and deserve to be compensated for malpractice etc. etc.. but I promise you that for every legit lawsuit that is filed there are 10 or more that are baseless. It costs the health care industry money to defend against these suits regardless of how insane they may be and those costs are passed along to the consumer. John Edwards is a total hypocrite whining about the plight of the uninsured in America when himself ane people like him are a major factor in health costs skyrocketing and they are getting filthy stinking rich as a result. :fyou John Edwards!
  9. Anyone who dared differ with anything "Mr. Can't Be Wrong" said was delusional. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU MAN?!?!
  10. I think he had a really f***ed up opinion about Reagan but the fact that he said some truly offensive s*** about him then lied about it later and covered it up really rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Me and mreye especially.
  11. LOL If he wanted you banned I bet he wanted me tracked down and killed. LOL! I enjoyed pissing in his cornflakes as much as I possibly could. He annoyed me THAT much.
  12. Flame away if you all want to but cwsox came across to me as an arrogant, condescending ass. I am not the only one who thinks like this either as anyone who had the temerity to disagree with anything he said was labeled by him as somewhat retarded and ignorant. I shed no tears over this situation.
  13. How long has he been here? 4 years? Isin't that enough time to work through mechanical problems or learning when to make a certain pitch?
  14. DBHAO?!? What's that no good sumb**** doing as a mod?!?!? f*** this place!! Congrats guys!!
  15. I am vindicated. People on this board trashed the living hell out of Konerko this season and last cause he had a half a bad season last year. Now the Konerko bashers are nowhere to be found. Props to all on the board who stuck to their guns and continued to support him. He has come through big time for the team this year and been everything we've come to know and love about OL Paulie. Lemmie hear ya!! PAULIE!!!!!!! PAULIE!!!!!!!!!!!! PAULIE!!!!!!!!!!
  16. It's all about the Chicago Wolves dude. They have been where it's at in Chicago hockey for like the last 6 years now.
  17. While we're at it lets pick up Nolan Ryan and Denny McLain for long relief.
  18. The damn trailer for this game had me fixated. I can only imagine the level of awesomeness the actual game has in store.
  19. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=40127 That's what I'm talking about!!
  20. 1987: Sharpton spreads the incendiary Tawana Brawley hoax, insisting heatedly that a 15-year-old black girl was abducted, raped, and smeared with feces by a group of white men. He singles out Steve Pagones, a young prosecutor. Pagones is wholly innocent -- the crime never occurred -- but Sharpton taunts him: "If we're lying, sue us, so we can . . . prove you did it." Pagones does sue, and eventually wins a $345,000 verdict for defamation. To this day, Sharpton refuses to recant his unspeakable slander or to apologize for his role in the odious affair. 1991: A Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn's Crown Heights section accidentally kills Gavin Cato, a 7-year-old black child, and antisemitic riots erupt. Sharpton races to pour gasoline on the fire. At Gavin's funeral he rails against the "diamond merchants" -- code for Jews -- with "the blood of innocent babies" on their hands. He mobilizes hundreds of demonstrators to march through the Jewish neighborhood, chanting, "No justice, no peace." A rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, is surrounded by a mob shouting "Kill the Jews!" and stabbed to death. 1995: When the United House of Prayer, a large black landlord in Harlem, raises the rent on Freddy's Fashion Mart, Freddy's white Jewish owner is forced to raise the rent on his subtenant, a black-owned music store. A landlord-tenant dispute ensues; Sharpton uses it to incite racial hatred. "We will not stand by," he warns malignantly, "and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business." Sharpton's National Action Network sets up picket lines; customers going into Freddy's are spat on and cursed as "traitors" and "Uncle Toms." Some protesters shout, "Burn down the Jew store!" and simulate striking a match. "We're going to see that this cracker suffers," says Sharpton's colleague Morris Powell. On Dec. 8, one of the protesters bursts into Freddy's, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets the store on fire. Seven employees die in the inferno. Sharpton, who has long been dogged by allegations of financial impropriety, was acquitted in 1990 of charges he stole from a civil rights organization and pleaded guilty in 1993 to not filing a state income tax return in 1986. A report filed in July showed that the Internal Revenue Service has begun an audit of his finances, and in August, a travel agency filed a lawsuit claiming he owed them for nearly $200,000 in travel bills. Last week, Sharpton's campaign filed for $100,000 in federal matching funds, plus additional funds of between $30,000 and $75,000. Not to mention he is a full blown racist... Defend away....lucky for you god is on your side....cause your credibility gets worse and worse with each post Let's look at what cwsox is defending..... He's defending someone who is guilty of slander, twice guilty of incitement to riot ( making him indirectly guilty in the murder of 8 people ), racism, anti-semitisim, tax evasion, theft and god knows what else that hasn't been made public. Yeah, this is a guy that's really a paragon of American values. This piece of scum is given a prominent speaking role at the Democratic convention? I thought liberals frowned on all this type of activity? He makes baseless charges about W being on coke & talks about how daddy got W off the hook for DUI but I dont see any venom directed toward Teddy Kennedy who got hammered, drove a young girl off a bridge and got away with an "I'm sorry". Worthy record to stand on as a public citizen indeed. He should be in prison. CW, I dont think God is with you on this one. LOL!
  21. We've been saying all year long that it was "our division to lose" but so far we haven't done anything special to win the thing. We have to play consistently to have any kind of chance. Streaky teams always fall by the wayside.
  22. Talk about a no brainer. Botch was a liability on his best day with a big salary to boot. At least Loaiza contributed something to the team. A better poll would be to compare the Loaiza deal to the Garcia deal.
  23. Lets not forget that Doom 3 and Metal Gear Solid 3 are coming out this fall as well. Both of which are going to be pretty darn kick ass in their own right.
  24. Year before that it was Royce "the choice" Clayton. We're on a roll aren't we?
