John Kerry voted against body armor and armored Humvee funding for the military , he voted against the M-1 tank and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, the best 1-2 punch of military might in the world and the workhorses of the U.S Army in 2 successful wars. He voted against a slew of other major weapons programs that are successful and necessary to our national security. This is a man who wants to run the Military? Yeah, we better get started wadding up paper and stocking up on drinking straws if John Kerry gets elected cause we will indeed be armed with spitballs if he and his leftist cronies have their way.

You are correct on the last part. Gen Eric Shinseki stated we would need 500K troops to pull off the operation. He was half right. We got the job done with 2 ground divisions spearheading and 2 more bringing up the rear and seizing the towns we bypassed. When the major combat phase ended we brought in 2 more ground divisions to help hold the place down. We now have about 140K soldiers over there. Neo-con chickenhawks? Somehow I think your "tourists" weren't as innocent as they claim to have been. You're protestors who are supposed to be all about peace yet they caused a s***load of trouble for the NYPD who already had terrorist plots to worry about, they beat a cop up and put him in the hospital, tied up traffic, interfered with RNC sponsored events and generally made pests of themselves. If you want to demonstratge against the Bush Administration that's fine but do it in a way that wont cause problems for everyone else.
