I'm with ya there. Everybody trashed Konerko last year when he started slow but he turned it around and still managed a decent season. Crede has turned the corner a month earlier this time around than Konerko did last year and I too expect great things from him when it's all said and done.

LOL!!! At least when we do that we'll be able to march in the shade down the main drag in Paris instead of the desert. Seriously though the new uniform is a really good thing for us. It was redesigned so that it's more comfortable, it's also very easy to take care of & the pixilated design is vastly superior to the splotchy design of our current uniforms and it eliminates the black color which is the first thing someone's eye picks up when you move. Also it's designed specifically for use with the body armor we're issued so that we can actually get to the stuff we're carrying on our shirt pockets without opening up the vest.

It's really nice to see Crede picking himself off the mat and starting to get hot again. Maybe there's some truth to the old saying that a rising tide lifts all boats.

I'm all about Maggs getting paid what he's worth compared to other players of his caliber but when is enough enough?

I gotta go with Shingo. When he came to town he was totally new to MLB and then there was that shaky start in spring training but he pulled it together in fine fashion and he's now the hottest relief pitcher in the majors. I would say that him stealing the closers job away from Botch was a surprise and in reality it was but only because it was him that did it. Shingo

Responsibility to his family? It's not like this guy is choosing which factory job he wants ya know. If you cant set up members of your own family on a salary of 15 million a year then there's something wrong with you. Trust me dude, there's no danger of anybody in Ordonez's family EVER going broke.
