  1. You saw the movie "Friday" right? "How in the HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL Did you get fired on yo day off?!?" Same deal.
  2. Crede is starting to pick it up now and PK doesn't need to be anywhere NEAR the hot corner. Best to sit him if necessary. I hate sitting PK as much as the next guy but I dont see any choice as hot as Thomas has been.
  3. One thing that really registered with me was the post game interview with Shingo when he told reporters that "in Japan, this is the standard". I'm glad to see that he's bringing his own high standards here to Chicago.
  4. Aint it the truth. Glad to see nice crowds there to support our boys!!
  5. I totally forgot about the no DH thing in NL parks. That's a tough call if I ever heard one. I know Thomas is marginally better offensively but he's a total butcher in the field. I think that you have to go with the hotter hand and go with Thomas though if it came down to it.
  6. Seems like the only thing he can locate these days is the taco stand.
  7. It's all good. They were due to cool off a bit after a really awesome month of pitching. They're gonna be just fine.
  8. That's generally how it goes with situations like that.
  9. A many as it takes to get the job done.
  10. They let him off the hook because they felt sorry for him. That's straight from a fellow juror. There were no issues with whether the law allowed for execution in that case.
  11. It's very simple. Marte sets up, Shingo sets em down in the ninth, Botch washes their jock straps when its all over. Everyone's happy.
  12. Just think how much money all that excitement costs too.
  13. Zero pitching?? What team are you watching? The one I'm watching was in the top 5 in ERA last time I checked.
  14. What really burns me up is how some of the jurors "felt sorry for him". How in the bloody blue hell can any decent person feel sorry for a convicted terrorist who helped murder 168 people. It just boggles the mind. He's going to jail for life defenitely but that just isint enough. Why should he get to live when all those people who just happened to be there, people with children and families, did not. I'm royally pissed off at this whole deal.
  15. Since you cant explain why everyone who was someone in the Soviet Union during that time said it was Reagan who finished them off........ Score one for the Gipper.
  16. One of the things I want to do someday when I'm retired or something is to take a summer long trip to all the MLB ballparks. That would be expensive as hell but it would really rock.
  17. http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/06/12/nichols.react/index.html If there was ever a poster child for the death penalty here he was. Un f***ing believeable.
  18. It wasn't me that said it was Reagan that forced the Soviets over the edge into collapse, it was Gorby and a host of other top Soviet officials that said it. Explain that one away. Why would they say such things? Maybe it was because Reagan's military buildup forced them to do the same thing but with far fewer resources. Why'd they have fewer resources? Recall SS2K4's post about Reagan's push to build on massive capacity in the middle east thusly sinking the price of oil and with it a major revenue source for the Soviets. Were the Soviets on the downslope when Reagan took office? To an extent yes, but after Reagan got through with them they were all but gone. If you wanted to at least be accurate about someone who "just happened to be in office when the Soviets actually collapsed" then you'd be talking about Bush Sr.
  19. I'd like to go to Fenway someday and check it out.
  20. Their rotation is in total shambles these days & it's funny to watch! f*** THE SPANKEES!!!
