Really until they are serious about spending some money, they might as well hire Jerry Krause. The people in the organIzation are just window dressing on a condemned building. I'm really happy to see this Soviet loving sonofab**** handed his pink slip, but you are right, there is no real hope for this organ-i-zation until Wirtz/Pulford are both sent packing.

I plan on dressing up like a soldier and doing my job. Halloween is so silly.

If those parents are looking to blame someone maybe they should look in the mirror. Crime and violence is caused, above all, by poor parenting. If the parents don't properly supervise their kids then they will fall prey to bad influences...PERIOD. I am really getting sick and tired of people blaming the entertainment industry for their own failings as parents.

A day like today is to be expected after all the running it's been doing lately. A little pullback is actually a good thing as it allows the market to consolodate its gains. I think the Dow is 10000+ by years end.

I think the management did make a huge difference when they brought in Alomar and Everett. That turned the whole season around and got us winning again. I think the only thing that could have helped this team was better execution against the Detroits and Clevelands of the world. If we were able to beat those teams early we would have cruised to the division.

My personal fav. "I can't remember anything.....Can't tell if this is true or dream Deep down inside I feel to SCREAM...This terrible silence stops me Now that the war is through with me...I'm waking up and cannot see That there's not much left of me...Nothing is real but pain now... HOLD MY BREATH AS I WISH FOR DEATH.....OH PLEASE GOD WAKE ME...... Back in the womb it's much too real...In pumps life that I must feel But can't look forward to reveal...Look to the time that I'll live Fed through the tube that sticks in me...Just like a wartime novelty Tied to machines that make me be...CUT THIS s*** OFF FROM ME HOLD MY BREATH AS I WISH FOR DEATH...OH PLEASE GOD HELP MEEEEEE Darkness..is visiting me..all that I see...absolute horror.. I cannot live...I cannot die....Trapped in myself...Body my holding cell.. LANDMINE has taken my sight, taken my speech, taken my hearing Taken my arms, taken my legs, taken my soul.... Left me with a life in HELLLLLLLL Metallica One

I do plan on making it to 1 or 2 Wolves games while I'm home. I've been meaning to go check them out but never have had a chance.

The "War against Terrorism" began well before 9-11. The war against terrorism began when the WTC was bombed the 1st time back in 1993. It snowballed from there until it came to an awful head on 9-11. Islamic terrorists started this war against us in Feb of 1993, then it progressed through Somaila, Kohbar Towers in 1996, the Embassy bombings in 1998, the USS Cole bombing in 2000 and then, of course 9-11. What did Bill Clinton as Commander in Chief do to combat this tide of Islamic terrorism? Lets have a look see shall we? 1. He gutted the U.S. military taking us down from 14 Army divisions to 10, along with a bunch of Air Force fighter wings. 2. Stripped the intelligence gathering agencies of a great portion of their funding and placed restrictions on the type of people who the CIA and NSA were allowed to recruit. The rational for that madness was that we needed to recruit only nice people who had no dirt on their hands so our image as a "nice guy" wouldn't suffer. 3. Told the government of Sudan, when they had Bin Laden and were ready to hand him over to us in 1996, to go to hell, that we didn't want him. 4. Adopted and enforced the unofficial policy of "Cut and Run" by turning tail and running from Somaila right after the Mogadishu incident, by not responding at all to the Kohbar Towers incident OR the bombing of the USS Cole, and by lobbing a few missiles at empty training camps inside Afghanistan. For the reasons listed above and many more that I don't have time to sit here and write about, the word got out to anyone that was listening, especially the islamic extremist perps of all the above mentioned attacks, that it was OK to f*** with America. It told the world that we didn't have the balls to respond when attacked, that we would cut and run. Fortunately, when 9-11 finally happened we had a President in place with the balls to steady the country and to go deal with the problem. I shudder to think what would have happened to this country after 9-11 had a soft ass tree hugger like ALGORE or any of these democratic wannabe Presidents had been in office. -

And people wonder why Isreal is so aggressive. It's like I quoted from "The Sum of All Fears" (the novel not the stupid remake on film ) .... "When the stated goal of your enemy is your complete annihilation, there is no defensive measure that can be considered 'extreme'." It may be direct from a work of fiction but it rings so true in this case. -
Now boys!!! Play nice.

I think BMR & Killa had it right when they said that people need to lighten up and quit being so damn sensitive.

Yawn....another hollywood marriage where the media hype will last longer than the marriage itself. Who cares.

These female pop stars are all the same. Be it J-Ho, Simpson, Christina Agulera... These people are so out of touch with the real world it's funny.

I must say I saw a movie this weekend that made me cry cause I was laughing so hard & it didn't have any major stars in it, no big budgets & no snazzy special effects. It was a 70's Kung Fu movie called "The Snake Strikes Back" You know the type. The dubbed in english that ends before the guys lips stop moving. The exaggerated sound effects & horrible acting. This movie lasted an hour and 20 minutes and I laughed for about an hour & 15 of them. I know this thread is totally meaningless but I just felt like sharing.

And the Republicans are small government? Total Information Awareness...the PATRIOT Act...Marriage Protection Week...yeah those are the actions of a party that wants smaller government. Or how about Orrin Hatch wanting to make a law where peoples' computers will get fried if they download mp3s? Yeah, that's the government using the invisible hand of capitalism to drive the market, alright. If anything, the government protection of the big meal ticket for the RIAA etc. is anti-capitalist. And about welfare, how about the fact that the vast majority of the people on welfare are not on it for extended periods of time but more of an on/off period of about 2 years and then they usually don't come back to the rolls. But who needs little things like facts, right? You make it sound like Bush turned the key to let him out of his cell. Kenny boy got burned right along with his jet set pals & I have no sympathy for them. Draft Dodger. I don't think so. You want a real draft dodger you need to look a bit into the past at Slick Willy who spent the Vietnam years in Red Square talking over tea with commies about how horrible America was. Bush slashing vets benifits & deployment pay? WRONG AGAIN! I think it's you that needs a little research. The problem with deployment pay is that Congress had problems passing the damn bill cause of a bunch of unrelated amendments and they let it expire. Thanks assholes. Hmmn.. Oh yeah Dept of Peace. Great Idea!! Hey Al Quaeda, Hey Hamas, Hey Islamic Jihad. You can stop killing people now. The USA has created a whole new buearacracy devoted to making us your friend! That's right. We will throw down our guns and instead come on over there and give you a big hug because we LOVE you! ( I am having serious trouble controlling my laughter at this point ) Oh wait, how could I forget. This new agency will stop evil at home too! Yup, we will, in one fell swoop, get rid of drunken wife beaters, drug dealers, pimps, pedophiles, thieves, gang bangers & mafia dons by, well, we can't put people in jail anymore cause that is inhumane, so we will tell them that "violence is not inevitable" and help them to discover their "new selves and new paths to peaceful consensus". ( My sides are splitting about now ) But wait, I haven't gotten to my favorite part yet. "It's focus on economic and political justice will examine and enhance resource distribution & human and economic rights....." I can't believe this guy holds a major political office in this country. That is nothing less than turning the USA into a marxist, socialist country. Resource distribution? Tell me, is this guys middle name Lenin or marx or something like that? Before you go crying about how laws unchain law enforcement and allow them to do their job is big government or whining because the music industry is fed up with people stealing copyrighted materials and doing something about it is somehow the Bush Administration giving them a handout at our expense ( now that is twisted! ) you should take a look in the mirror.

Game one goes to the Fish. Can they pull off the miracle upset?!?!?!

Have any of you seen this movie yet? I don't think I've ever seen anything so bloody in my life. Uma Thurman is the ultimate badass!!! If you haven't seen it yet you need to go. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?!

APU I will be interested to see who you like. I thought he supported Kucinich? I think thats who he wants. After reading his positions on gutting the military I wonder how he could like anyone else. "Department of Peace"? What's that for? to do airdrops of flowers over the middle east, take all our green suiters out of Iraq & have them all planting trees & picking up trash in s***ty neighborhoods across America? LMFAO!! This guy is a leftist nutcase if I ever saw one. Here's the question Nuke...are ya willing to sign up for it I'm with ya on him Nuke. I know one thing, I'm definately not a Clark fan. Yeah, I'm really enthusiastic about all that. I really want to go and sing KOOM-BY-f***ING-YA with islamic terrorists . Fortunately that nutjob has no chance of getting elected. Wesley Clark? From what I've heard of him he is an arrogant prick who is denounced by his own peers and was forced out of uniform because of it. f*** him. Personally I don't think I could ever bring myself to vote for a Democrat to run this country. They are the party of welfare queens, criminals, socialism, and big government. f*** em all. FOUR MORE YEARS!!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
