May I ask what makes you so sure about this? Iam looking at Reed's numbers and there is nothing I would say is spectacular about him. He has zero power, average speed, and an average arm. I am sure you have not seen his performance except for during spring training when he was downright awful. He is Mark Kotsay in the waiting, which isn't saying very much at all. I think Jow Borchard has a much higher upside than Reed and I for one am glad we chose to keep him over Reed. As a prospect Borchard > Reed without any doubt. Good luck to Reed, he will need it.

I remember another time that really stood out this year. Carlos was on 1st and Frank was on 2nd. We know damn well Frank is not going to try to steal 3rd. Carlos gets picked off of first. WHY?!? Where the hell is he going? He can't take off for 2nd with Frank there. I really don't understand his bone head mistakes on the bases.

I remember a lot of other players saying the same thing. No I am happy where I am at and I would like to end my career here. Then all of a sudden they like the idea of going from a last place club to a first place club and playing in the playoffs. We will see.

I bet if we sign him we will trade either or both of Lee/Konerko. Just my guess.

WHy can't they have a boxing match for charity? umm, no, I don't give them anything more than maggs for those two overpaid bums and the only reason I give up maggs is because I fear not getting anything if we can't resign him.

I don't understand you people! So what if he works out? I mean who the hell cares! To get a player that really helped give us a boost last year I think it was worth it. I don't blame Carl Everett for not making the playoffs and I don't blame KW for trying. To me he made the right moves last year. Francisco's ERA is still near 4 and for a relieve that is not very good. I belive, if the Rangers weren't so pitching hungry, then Francisco would not even be with the big league team to begin with. If he is better than Jackson so what? We have pitchers in the minors that are better than Jackson that should be up right now. To me, saying that he is better than Jackson, is not saying very much at all. I think some people in here should reconsider what they piss and moan about. There is a lot more to worry about with our current team than worrying about lasy year and who we gave up for who.

We already know the man can hit and would be a great fit in our lineup as a number 1 or 2 hitter. I would love to get this done.

You count on CLee learning? Thats a good one. CLee has been picked off so many times in his career. That is another trait of laziness and lack of focus. He is one of our best players, unfortunately he is also one of the dumbest in the game. Good luck on him learning anything unless Ozzie pulls him to the side and reprimands him in front of everyone.

Let me add this. Estrada sucks defnsively. Pass Balls 5 Stolen Bases Attemted 47 Stolen Bases Against 38 Caught Stealing 9 Caught Stealing Percentage .191 That sucks!!! This is possibly the worst in all of MLB. It is worse than Mirabelli and all he does is catch knuckleballer Wakefield. This is worse than Piazza. Could this be another reason why they want to trade him?

Estrada was 28 freaking years old at the beginning of the season. Ben Davis was also a highly touted prospect when he was with SD and traded to SEA. Give me a break.

Estrada is not 25, he is 28. THis is his 4th major league season and the first one that he has ever produced in. He is arbitration eligible next season. Arbitration rules: My reasoning of why he would be included is if they are that desperate to get rid of Ortiz's contract or if they want so desperately to get out of Jones' contract. If including Estrada in a deal that helps them do this then they most likely will. If they are that desperate. Again, he is not as young as you people think he is. I don't know if you guys just like to make things up or just assume he is younger, but he is 28. That is a year older than Ben Davis. This is Estrada's first good year and it is coming at the age of 28. Couldn't the same happen to Ben Davis?

Please, even when he is trying to give us respect he still has to get some digs in. Even in this article don't you notice some things he mentions: We know on which side he already stands on all of these. He likes Wrigley better. He likes their fans better. He thinks Wrigleyville is more prosperous. And we all know what incident he is referring to as he spent his whole show talking about it on Monday or Tuesday. The guy is a complete ass.
