  1. Betancourt is in. Now lets get the leadoff man aboard and lets see Pods get back into his base stealing groove. Take the lead Chicago!!!
  2. Who cares what ESPN says. Sox won't earn respect until they get the ring. They won't get the ring unless they execute and play good baseball. Chalk that...not good baseball, great baseball.
  3. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:25 PM) GET NEAL OUTTA THERE> THANK YOU SCOTTY. No no no...Neal stays out there.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:24 PM) All right, Ozzie giving Neal more than 1 batter! With Hafner and Martinez in that lineup...he better start next inning too. Totally agree. He should be in and than go to the pen after Martinez hits.
  5. QUOTE(soxman352000 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) Crisp is up. He is dangerous Especially because the big boppers of the tribe lineup are on deck. Come on Neal...sit em down. f***ING BULLs***. Two border line pitches not called in this count.
  6. QUOTE(sircaffey @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) What's the attendence? How full is the stadium? UD looked pretty full so I'm guessing 35,000 or so (Total guess).
  7. By the way, I just have to say...Indians have one of the best announcing crews in baseball (there radio crew also rocks).
  8. I want Cotts in there until after Victor Martinez turn up.
  9. QUOTE(TLAK @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:20 PM) Thats balls Exactly...its something Freddy has shown countless times he has. He flat out did his job tonight regardless of the early runs. He got down and really stepped up.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) Good job by Garcia keeping us in the game and keeping the 5th inning momentum. I know it wasn't his greatest start, but I think you have to give the guy credit. He totally battled through this game and kept the Sox in it. He also at least went 6.1 innings so the Sox didn't have to go to the pen really early. It could turn out to be a difference maker tonight and later on in this series. Although I already am calling a Buehrle complete game tomorrow night.
  11. Great job Freddy. He struggled early but really battled through and kept the Sox in this game. He showed a lot of toughness and I for one am thinking this will be the game that gets him back on track down the stretch. Hopefully Neal can come in and set the tribe down and keep this game tied up.
  12. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:15 PM) Nah, he got it off the end of the bat. It hung up a good bit. If he hit that hard it woulda been against the wall. Ya, it was definately off the end of the bat a little too much. Freddy's out here. He's a battler, he needs to step up like he did in that Dodgers game earlier this year (when Ozzie showed faith and Freddy rewarded him for it). Sit the tribe down Freddy
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:11 PM) 102 pitches for Millwood. Yankees just won 3-2. All the Sox got to worry about is themselves. They take care of business, and the rest of the teams can do as they please.
  14. Damn it, at first I was thinking gap. Crede hit the ball hard.
  15. f***, another high fastball that he swings and misses at. Should be 2-0. As Hawk would say...be a good 2 strike hitter Joe.
  16. Juan is going to have to hit that curve in this sequence if he's going to take care of business.
  17. Great bunt by Aaron. Now come on Juanita, knock in Dye and give the Sox the lead!!!!
  18. Jermaine with the leadoff single. I'm sending him at some point in this count.
  19. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:06 PM) Now, is it too much to ask for Garcia to not start next inning? I wouldn't bring him out there, but there is a shot he'll be out there. I'd turn it over to Cotts for the full inning. I hate how Ozzie always brings in a million guys an inning. Get the lead Chicago!!!!
