5/12 games
Miller is really getting in a groove. Its great to see since he's supposed to have some of the highest upside of anyone in the organization. The Sox really have a lot of upside at the lower levels and the pitching in Bham has been flat filthy as has Charlotte's. The only downside I can see is the fact that Honel and Wing, two of the best in the organization, have about 4 innings between them, all of which are Honels. Its also great seeing Ryan Rodriguez and Haigwood pitching so well after missing last year with injuries. Plus Bmac doing his thing. Kanny has such a sick rotation. Heck, other then Winston Salem, the Sox must have one of the best pitching staffs top to bottom, stat wise in minor league baseball (and no, I'm not going to take the time to research that, lol) .

KW being Ultra-aggressive
Still, I can't knock the move. The intent of that move as well as the David Wells move was to put the Sox over the top. To this day, I still don't know how the Sox failed to make the playoffs. That was the best team I've seen the Sox have since 1994. But I'm going to try and not talk about last years squad. Ritchie was also Kw's idea of agressive deal making, it was just an awful type of agressive, lol.

Sox post game show
Here's the thing, who gets dropped in favor for Ventura? I don't want to see GLoad, I think he's a more productive player then Robin. Heck, I want to see Gload get consistent at bats because I feel he'll be a good player for the Sox. However, if the Sox are going to drop a pitcher, since they will be carrying 12 once they call up Diaz, then Ventura could make sense, just for his leadership , although I don't see him getting many at bats.

KW being Ultra-aggressive
Glavine has pitched good though, although if the Mets picked up his contract to the point that he would cost about 5 mill a year each year, then maybe that would be the type of guy JR would pony up a little extra dough on. Although I don't know whether Tom could still put fans in the seats.

KW being Ultra-aggressive
I think if the Sox are going to acquire a pitcher, its going to be someone with a year left on a deal or an affordable contract. While that means the Sox may have to give up a little more, it also means they don't take on a horrible contract. At least a few of the players whose names are being mentioned have awful contracts, in particular Glavine, Johnson and Griffey. If the Sox are going to get a player, get a guy thats in his prime or near it and even if it means you have to give up an extra prospect or two, then at least you know your getting a guy that won't handcuff the franchise a year or two don the road.

Intel MaxFi
Was reading an article on this stuff (maybe I called it by the wrong name, but I think its called MaxFi) and man is it going to be sweet. Its supposed to be released at some point this year and its basically wifi on steroids with a 30 mile radius. Once this is out, then a wireless society can't be too far behind us, well for those people that have laptops and other devices that they want to use online. I have no idea how this will interact with cell phones, but it will also be good for those people in rural areas without access to broadband. Personally I'm pretty pumped for this product. ITs nice being able to use my laptop anywhere on school campus, I couldn't imagine being able to just use it anywhere. Damn would that be badass Just imagine being able to get online and catching the Sox game or what not on streaming video or something. Its just a matter of time before everything is streaming.

Running the mile
You guys are some fast ass sob's, back when I used to run the mile in 6:15 I was one of the fastest people at my school. Us Californians must be slow. Then again that was in like 7th grade and then again in 8t. I never timed myself in high school.

KW being Ultra-aggressive
I tend to agree. I don't think JR is going to free the purse strings which means KW is not only going to have to be agressive, but pretty sly and to make a deal he's going ot have to give up some contracts or some damn good playesr to the point the other team eats the contract. Personally I think KW will make a move, the question is can he find a taker for Konerko and can he get a player he wants in return. Imo, Konerko or Lee will be gone by June 1st. Hopefully Uribe, Willie, Joe, and Jose all cream the ball to the point that it will allow the Sox to lose one of those two batters (konerko or lee) cause then they can reup with Maggs and acquire a good player in return. I don't sense any big moves coming though, other then the promotion of Reed and well a few starts from Diaz to see whether he could be the answer at the 5th spot this season.

To me Stone hasn't really been the same since he came back.

Alvarez was pretty damn good when healthy and is definately heatlhy again for the Dodgers. Chimp needs to get his head out of his ass .

Plus this is his first time in the majors. I'd say he's been doing pretty good all things considering. I don't ever understand the fascination with expecting players to come up and be Eric Gagne right out of the gate. Gagne stunk it up for a few years until he finally panned out. As far as I'm concerned the Sox youngsters have been pretty productive this year and thats a big plus.

Post your questions for Jeff Bajenaru!
Jeff: What is the toughest thing you've faced thus far in your career (adversity wise). What would you consider the hardest thing about playing baseball sa well as the most important thing; Do you pay a lot of attention to the White Sox or Knights since they are the two destinations that lay ahead of you?

5/12 Game Thread
Well, hopefully its a good thing that I get to see Diaz now Thats assuming both games end up being televised. Usually mlb xtra innings sucks ass at that.

Running the mile
Fastest I ever ran the mile in was 6:15, now I'm probably around 7 minutes, maybe 6:50. I think If I trained I could get into the high 5's.

5/12 Game Thread
I dunno, I keep flipping during mlb extra innings to see some sort of update but now it doesn't have the rain delay thing next to the time which means its either getting ready to start or the game was called.

What has Adkins done wrong at the major league level. He had a great spring and earned his spot.

NFL Network
That was such an awesome game. I remember being in shock at how the Bears won that game. Me and my buddies thought it was over when Shane Matthews came in.

My 15 minutes of Fame
At Dodger games they don't sell alcohol in the bleachers, but they aren't attached to the rest of the stadium so its a pretty tough thing to enforce. Plus, I think most people would be upset. Personally I don't drink any beer at games, too damn expensive.

Kerry would nominate McCain as SECDEF
I agree minus the real conservatives are libertarians argument. I like McCain, but I think he's too outspoken to ever become president.
