  1. I'll take the Phillies
  2. If you need me to upload it to like www.soxtalk.com/mvponlineleague.html I can do it. The whole thing sounds really sweet
  3. If you want Autographs, stand near home plate where the players walk in or go by the dugout. Before they open the gates, go to the far left of the park and wait at the fence for players. Thats what I used to do when I'd get autographs and I used to get a ton. Most importantly know the players names and be courteous. Didn't spend anytime in Tuscon (outside of the game) so don't really know the hot spots. I spent all my time down in the Phoenix/Tempe area.
  4. IF he's playing this year before September (even then I don't think they call him up) then it likely means the Sox have already given up and dealt Ordonez and others. I do think Sweeney and Anderson have a heck of a future and I'm excited about Reed too.
  5. Lol Alex...I'll add something to that tomorrow. I wrote one up, but got swamped at work and never put one up. When I get to the office I'll put up an analysis on the cuts from a minor league perspective But as always good stuff
  6. I'd rather say Kobe. Actually there are a few players I'd rather have then AI, simply because he takes a lot of shots for a guy that isn't a great shooter. I love his heart, but you can't really have guys around him cause no one else gets many shots.
  7. Personally I feel if the Sox have to count on Rauch and Wright or Scho then this team is in deep crap. Luckily they are in a pathetic division so they could still end up getting away with it. The Sox are so lucky that they aren't in the East or West this year, cause they'd be finishing dead last. Of course they could also come out and pitch well. I liked what I saw from Scho in the one game I saw him pitch this spring.
  8. If someone gives me a link, I cna turn the speakers on in my office and semi listen to it and give updates. But Im guessing I need the radio package.
  9. If the Bulls have a shot at Okafor, I don't see them dealing the pick. I find it more likely that they would deal the rawer Tyson Chandler.
  10. That sites great, been going there for about a year. Didn't know he was from nfl-fans, but his cartoons crack me up. One of my favorites was of the Bears fan that he did last offseason...oh my god, i was rolling.
  11. I am becoming more and more convinced that the Bears will be adding a dt in the 1st round. Then I think they go wr and cb.
  12. Agreed and out of the two, I'd rather move Rauch.
  13. I think Frank Francisco was the other player we gave up. Not sure how Webster is doing, but Rupe put up good numbers with the Rangers.
  14. Hell, look at Spain. In reality socialism doesn't work and this is essentially that. The private sector is so much more efficient, like 2k4 pointed out, and well the government sector is not. Capitalism is a great method.
  15. I didn't get to catch him this spring Rex, but your assessment is pretty accurate (I wish I would of saw him throw). I love the kids fastball and attitude. This is his first spring with the big club and I think he'll learn from it. He still has to better develop a secondary pitch, but I just think he's got that closers mentality.
  16. What a freaking joke. He should of been stuck in Baltimore.
  17. LMAO - Isn't it how it always is
  18. I think the Bears will probably tell Rdub to restructure or he'll be cut. Thats just my guess. First, I think they want to deal with the more pressing needs. This would be a great signing. Salaam has plenty of experience and is only 26 years old. He has a pretty bright future and if he signs, the Bears oline and Rex Grossman should at least feel safe. I'd also say that Thomas Jones and whoever else is carrying the ball should be happy. I do believe this means one of the olineman - at least one, will be dealt.
  19. She's the one on seventh heaven right?
  20. Wow, I didn't hear that either. Brando - My best wishes go out to you and your family. Thats a very tough thing, especially since she was so involved in your life. It was really pretty hard when I lost my grandpa three years ago (as of yesterday). I'm so so sorry to hear about your loss.
  21. I like Munoz, he's going to be pretty good. He still has somethings to work on and I wouldn't be surprised if he found himself pitching well in Chicago at some point this year.
  22. My bad...meant to say Augestine. I always confuse him with Brian Archibald. Michigan should be a little better too next year. And you'd have to think IU will do better, they have some talented players.
