  1. Gold would be a good pickup. Assuming he is healthy, he is very fast and I know at least a few Denver fans and they have said very good things about him. He is a pretty solid linebacker and him, Briggs and Urlacher would be fast, hard hitting and fun to watch.
  2. If this is the case, the Bears should move down and try to pick up a 2nd 1st rounder or an extra 2nd rounder and then give the Dolphins one of the 1st rounders and call it even.
  3. You going to pop the question to him Now if only you still did your hockey show...now that I like hockey I could of actually came up with some semi decent questions

Well, I'd guess that would mean that Jackson and Adkins aren't getting in. I can't see the Sox letting Grilli go back to the Marlins, at least not until he gets a shot in the majors. However, I have no problem with this idea if Cotts is going to seriously be used. Pitching out of the bullpen is a great way to develop a pitcher and make the adjustment to the majors a little easier. That being said, if he's going to rot their, then I'd think its best for him to be in AAA. And Steve...badass new sig
  5. Well said by Cerb. If I were to give a list of 5-6 guys...I'd only include starters, simply because typically they are the best prospects...not always, but typically. Honel, Cotts, Wing are the top 3. Then I have McCarthy. I don't think much of Rauch and Pacheco is probably 5th on that list because he had such a truly great year, but he's going to have to back it up this year. Sleepers are definately Haigwood, Orionny, Ryan Rodriguez, and Fabio Castro. I'd consider Munoz a sleeper, especially with the Sox moving him to the rotation...I'm assuming he will go back to Bham, but maybe they will keep him in Charlotte. Either way...that is gonna be one filthy rotation in Birmingham with the likes of Wing, Honel, Meaux, Munoz, etc.

And a great year its been
  7. Thats sweet....way to go Jim.
  8. Or hitting on him
  9. If I recall the Mets wouldn't part with their top pitching prospect Scott Kazmir and thats why Soriano is still a Ranger. If the Rangers would take Rauch, Harris or Uribe, and Borchard then I'd do it. Even make it Rauch, Pacheco and Harris or Uribe or Borchard and I'd do it. But if you are giving up Cotts, Honel, etc then its costly. Still, Soriano is a pretty valuable player, imo. I don't think its going to happen though and to be honest, I think the bullpen or rotation are of great concern.
  10. Good read.
  11. Screw you ...they don't teach reading in college. I'm from the Office Space college...I got my jump to conclusions table mat
  12. Alright, I see quite a few of these got to be added. Hell, I don't know which ones are on and which ones aren't. But I'll try to get them done sometime in the next few days
  13. Somehow I'm just going to guess that some company originally or still has a copyright or trademark on the word "sock".
  14. Wow, I'd of kind of figured the OG position was already full. At least one is gonna be dealt or cut before the start of the season, now I'm guessing two (Unless this guy could be slid over to the practice squad).
  15. I think BA rated him as their #1 prospect.
  16. I like Choi's potential a lot, but if Lee helps propel the Cubs to the series (Who knows if that happens) then no matter what happens to Choi, its a deal the Cubs and Cub fans will take. I'll wait and see. Choi has high upside but Lee is entering the prime of his career and is a good 1st baseman (he's not in the best group; Thome/Helton/etc, but a notch below that).
  17. Son of a b****, I would of wanted Cruz. I wonder what they gave up. I'm assuming Andy Marte wouldn't be part of the deal
  18. 1998 F150. Got it when I was like 17 and a half. Worked for about two years to save up for it. Had it until about a year and a half ago when I bought an Accord to save on gas mileage. Prior to that I'd get my parents car on occassions (either their Chyrlser 300 M or the Town and Country MiniVan). Didn't happen too often though. I loved my F150...my honda is nice, but that truck was my baby.
  19. But their commercials are funny as hell. I love the ones with that dog
  20. Yep, in the olympics. I think it makes for a more creative game. I love passing and the bigger the rink the more passing and flow, imo.
  21. Adkins has a damn good fastball. If he's really got an offspeed pitch to go along with it, then I wouldn't have a problem with him knocking off Jackson. Although I do think the veteran will get the nod, assuming he responds well to working back to back games later this spring.
  22. One of these days the bigwigs at Sprite are gonna give SuperSteve a mega endorsement deal and he can be one of those lameass athletes that claim they drink sprite.
  23. Adding a probowler is definately a plus, although guard isn't a huge need. I love the fact that he wants to play for Lovie and Company.
