From what I've heard from some of the people on the scene via radio and such it sounds like their was beefed up security. Heard the ump talking about it and a few other callers and they all mentioned that the security was much higher. The flaw is that usually when a player runs onto the field you let them run and then they go across and then they try and get away and you get them on the other side. I don't think that security is as used to taking off onto the middle of the field to get them.

Your damn right it does. These guys need to forget about themselves. Maybe the team needs to take a bonding trip or something where they learn about how people are better as a team then by themselves. Good grief Charlie Brown.

If thats the case we are screwed. Station to Station ball sucks. Why could the 2000 team play the other way yet this team, comprised of many of the same players offensively not due it? Oh thats right they all have egos now and aren't those "kids" from "The Kids Can Play Days". Maybe the only solution is to send them all to the minors so they can find their heart that they left there and take it back to Chicago.

No, I'm saying if your a losing team you should look at the Bulls and take notes. Most losing teams play like crap, play lazy and just look like they are waiting for the season to end. This bulls team plays their ass off day in and day off and it paid off. Its that type of hard work that led to their drastic improvement over the season and its that type of work that will make them a playoff team next year and in the future a Championship squad. These guys want to win and these guys love eachother and play hard. God I hope they don't get screwed up like the Sox seem to of. Remember the days the Sox used to play like they loved the game. Damn, when do we get to see that again? I never taped the 2000 season so If someone has some tapes please send them my way so I can watch the SOx playing real ball. OH ya, No I haven't panicked, just sick and tired of seeing stupid mistakes. If a team gets beat I got no problems, its when they beat themselves that really pisses me off.

Here's the thing, if they can them, will the team respond well or will they respond even crappier. You'd have to think Wally knows quite a bit about most of these guys which would be a definate plus. If I'm in the Chicago Media on the radio or something, I'd be interviewing Josh Stewart and some of the other guys that were recently in Birmingham and ask them a bit about Backman.

I didn't want to go in depth about the piss poor play I've seen cause it sickens me so much and in no way am I limiting that to this game. Piss Poor play has been seen in every freaking game and I'm sick of it. Do these guys not want to play? Are they that freaking stupid of ballplayers? What is it, mental errors suck and selfish play sucks. If I'm GM, I get rid of selfish players and idiots. I want a smart team that plays hard and has great pitching. I also build my team around speed and obp.

This team is what losing teams are about. I'm not being sarcastic either. These guys are playing their asses off and trying every game. I never see any quit out of them and its paying off. Crawford was a freaking stud tonight and you could just see how much fun everyone was having. Awesome game. Thank god I was watching this over that crap on WCIU (Not that I get WCIU)

I am ashamed at the piss poor fundementals I have seen. Coaches take a big blame when I see poor fundementals and they are typically the scapegoats for crap like that, but the players really need to pull their heads out of their asses. That being said the Sox are playing like crap and are over .500 that has to be worth something.

I'm not worried and more importantly to those calling KC a piss poor team, check the record. I don't give a damn how bad they are on paper (They aren't terrible on paper) because they are winning on the field and are hot. If a team is hot then they will do different things. That being said this Sox team is pissing the hell out of me because they are blowing game after game by their own blunders whethers its on the path, moving guys over, or fielding. Its freaking disgusting. Why can't we have a fundementally sound team? Damn it I wish the Sox were the Angels. I take so much enjoyment watching them do the little things. This Sox team can do the little things, yet I never see it, I don't get it. In 2000 they did all the little things but field. This team isn't any slower then that team and it isn't worse offensively, they are just SELFISH. I wish we never used Joshua as the scapegoat to our offensive meltdown in 2001.

What did the manager do wrong, specifically in this game? Can someone please tell me. I've done plenty of JM bashing, but he brought in his closer to save the game, case closed, Koch blew it. He didn't make the two errors that led to two un-earned runs. He made all fine calls to me, although I did have some doubt bringing White in instead of Marte right out of the gate in the eighth.

Damn it, Sweeney hits a 2 run homer and takes the lead. Koch gives it up. It would of been a 3 run homer had it not been a web gem. They are talking about the umpire on Baseball Tonight. Royals and Ump kicked the crap out of the fan.

Well I'd go whenever a good team was playing and it would just be more of an incentive to go on half price days, just so I can go to more games. I agree though, don't just go to those games, go to as many as you can

What is it about Comiskey that turns a few idiots into real jackasses. I don't see this happening at other stadiums. All stadiums have their idiots, but damn, first attacking a player, now going after an ump. I know all of us are classy and a lot of Sox fans are, but this sucks. At least no one was hurt and Let the Sox shut em down.
