If Brownlie was there with our pick, I'd sign him in a heartbeat. As far as that kid from Santa Margarita, I'll have to ask some of my buddies about him. He sounds really good. That catcher sounds solid too, but I really don't have much trust in college catchers. One I happen to like is Stanfords catcher, but I forget his name.

I dont' know if anyone else read this, but I saw where he was cleared to play, but as of right now the Bulls dont have any plans on activating him. What I want to know is what the heck are they waiting for. Get him out there and see what he can do, so next season we kind of know if we got something in him or not. Also, Crawford was benched today and I got to say it was a bunch of bulls***. Jay Williams hasn't done one damn thing to earn that starting job, while Crawford has played his ass off and is a much much better defensive player. I can't believe how bad Williams is defensively. I've always thought he was a bust and he keeps proving me right, I wish he wouldn't. Seriously though, why the heck are the Bulls looking to move Williams when he is the one with more value then Crawford. Lets keep Crawford and ship Williams out of her along with someone else for a guard. Like I say, I could care less if we dealt him for Mike Dunleavy Jr whose done nothing in Golden State. At least we'd get a potential future guard. Also, Cartwright is really getting on my nerves. That dummy benched Chandler for being late to practice because he missed his flight. Of course he was at the airport 2 hours early, but problems occured. How the hell is that his fault? Bill, I'm liking you less and less every day. First off, your ideas of this offense SUCK. This is a run and gun team, not a slow it down and bang inside. No matter what you think, Chandler and Curry RIGHT NOW are best on the run and Crawford and Erob are great on the fast break. Then you have Rose that can do either and Marshall is pretty quick as well. He's probably the only one suited for that slow paced style offense. This is all getting ridiculous. I sounded off on it on Gary and I's show last Saturday and I know I'm going to be talking about it more this Saturday because I'm getting more pissed about it. This team sucks, they do nothing to show me they are improving. Rose and Marshall are the only reason this team is better. Development isn't happening. This team needs a new mindset. Cartwright is great and all, but I want Van Gundy a guy that is proven. This Bulls team is sorry. Of course, it ain't going to happen. I praise Bill and I am with him on his defensive philosphy but juts because he likes a slow paced game doesn't mean its best for his team. Why the hell do the coaches in Chicago build their systems and try to force people to fit into it, instead of simply molding and building the best system for the team so they pieces fit pretty much perfect. Oh well, enough of my rant. On a final note, TRADE CURRY, Send Brunson to the IR, Activate Mason Jr., Activate Baxter; Send Bagaric to IR. Trade Jwill or Crawford. One has to go, thats that. Also, enough of this draft pick bulls***, the Bulls need players. They need a really good shooting guard that can play defense, but score as well. Oh ya, bench Hassell as well. Let him and Mason Jr fight it out.

Carlos Quentin of Standford is a very good player. So is Wes Littleton and Chad Cordero of Cal State Fullerton. Both of them are pitchers. Quentin is a right fielder that reminds me a lot of Borchard. The guy is a tremendous hitter with power, but he has a very very strong arm and from what I saw its very accurate. He almost gunned down quite a few people the day I saw him play.

I think Mark wants a long term deal and I think he will eventually get it. This season is going to be a big one for the Franchise. If the Sox struggle, then you can count on a ton of trades. If they live up to expectations and beyond, then they should get increased fan support and should have the money to resign there free agents and reward other players with long term deals and maybe even afford adding another free agent or two. This is really a key point. If they fail this year then Frank, Carlos, PK, Magglio, and Colon will all potentially be gone, maybe even Koch or at least a few of them.

I've meant to watch it, but whenever I try watching it, its already in full swing and I'm confused to whats going on.

With the White Sox....yes. However, I think Buehrle will benefit from being in the #2 role....because now Colon's high 90s fastball will make Buehrle's 92 MPH fastball look even slower, and his changeup even better than that. Then again, I could see Colon benefitting from being in the #2 spot as well....following Buehrle's 88-92 s***, his 98-100 MPH fastball will look like 100+ MPH....or so I hope. Of course, if things go right, they'll be seeing Colon's hard stuff, then Buerhle's soft stuff and change. Then you get Garland coming from the right side with nasty sinking action. Then you get a power pitcher in Wright, then to Rogers who is a soft tosser, then back to Colon and heat. That rotation is one of the few that I can think of that has guys that can throw innings, but every guy compliments eachother so well, or at least I think they do.

Once my 2nd semester of college starts. I then know that spring training is around the corner and I'm dying to get a break from school.

It was definately funny when it first started. The one thing I noticed is Kruk is pretty quiet, unless its regarding baseball. I liked Demarco Farr. If they dump Kruk, I'd like to see them bring another first baseman named Mark Grace, cause he's funny too, but he's destined for the booth. I haven't watched that show in a long time though.

I like Wright way too much to put him in the bullpen. I think Wright is a better pitcher then Rogers, so if we were to do that we'd be downgrading. I really think Wright and Garland will win between 15-17 with Colon and Buerhle fighting for 20 or more if they are healthy. Then we'll have Rogers, and eventually I'm thinking Rauch. I like how someone mentioned Lackey of the Angels. He came in after a month or so, I'm thinking Rauch could do the same. Were going to win the series people!!!! I know one thing, if our season is an exact replica of the Angels last year, I'm going to be so happy, but were all going to be going nuts when they start off like 6-14 or whatever it was they did. LETS GO WHITE SOX!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say that is big....we're signing, at best, a #4 starter....and I'd prefer to keep Rauch in the rotation and let him mature this year....but oh well. The thing is, I keep reading that Loiza was the likely #5. I'll take Rogers any day of the week over Loiza. I am a huge Rauch supporter though. The way I see it, were destined to have injuries and I think its awesome knowing that Rauch is right there when they do happen. I dont like Loaiza as a 5th starter if we dont get K. Rogers. i think its better to give Rauch the opportunity to grow the same as John Lackey for the Angels(was he a rookie last year?). Besides, Rauch was great during his starts on the last month of the season last year. Lacky was a rookie who came up after the first month and a half or so. I am thinking we aught to do the same with Rauch.

I think Rowand could turn into a big time surprise player, mainly because everyone is counting him out and I do think he has some talent.

I assume it involved Ricardo Rincon going from Pittsburgh to Cleveland...but that's a guess Regardless....the Indians wouldn't have traded within the division. They also traded away Jeromy Burnitz in their little run....if it matters. As well as Ritchie Sexson. Oh ya, I know I'm dreaming. Also, the Sox couldn't get the deal done before because of Giles no trade clause, or at least thats how I always understood it. Either way, I don't think there is anyone out there that would be a better fit for center. Well, I ain't going to complain about JR not being able to make this one happen. I'm so happy as it is.

I ain't down on him one bit. Bottom line is that he's going to eventually be a leftfielder with Borchard eventually sliding into Right to make room for Jeremy Reed/Anthony Webster, both of whom are very good defensive centerfielders. Maggs is amazing.
