All I know is the hawks have some exceptional young players and this team should only get better over the next couple years. Also, I'm with giving Tbo some rest. Got to keep the guy fresh.

All I'm saying is Halama is a crafty lefty that had an era under 4 last year and pitched in a tough division. He ain't great, no, but he could maybe put up a 4.50 era or so and with this lineup that would be good enough. Also, he is a winning pitcher, of course thats with a real good team like the Mariners.

Weaver is probably the only guy the Yanks could move and actually get value for him. The thing is, everyone knows the Yanks must move some pitchers which will still hurt their value if they tried moving Weaver. Still, Weaver doesn't make anywhere near as much as the others (Or at least I don't think he does). If I were the Sox he'd probably be the only guy I'd talk to the Yanks about, and I wouldn't exactly offer the house. They could use some catching prospects and I am against trading Olivo, but I bet it could get it done since the Yanks want to move Posada. Heck, maybe Paul and some others, I dunno.

I think DC could support a team if it were to compete. I know Angelos (Orioles Owner) has always said he is against it, but DC and Baltimore are a bit more then 15 minutes away. Its probably a 2 to 2 and a half hour drive during rush hour. The Angels are just an hour from both the Dodgers and Padres.

Boras to me is a pretty good agent as in he does an awesome job keeping his players happy. Of course, he doesn't always do whats the best for the game, but he's always looking out for his client.

It looks like Daniel Snyder, owner of the Redskins, and Bob Johnson(I may of botched his name) new owner of the Charlotte Hornets franchise (Well, I doubt they'll calm them the Hornets) are going to team up and try to buy the Expos and bring them to Washington DC. To me this would make a lot of sense, if they are actually going to go 50/50.

Thinking harder about this deal, I probably wouldn't do it. I'd give them Wright and a prospect, thats it. They can take it or leave it. Colon is going to walk and they have to move him. I don't see anyone offering anything too grand for him now that the Yanks are out of the picture, so I'd just sit back and wait, his price will drop tremendously.

Watch the Jets play, they are a good football team. Will they go to the superbowl? Doubtful, its just so hard when you have to keep winning on the road in the playoffs. Still, they got a great young qb, a great runningback, solid recievers, a tight end, and a good defense. They lost to the Bears and the Bears happened to play a pretty good game. Were the Bears bad, hell ya they were, but the Jets played pretty bad that week. Also, the Bears lost a ton of close games this year because they had such a weak offense, so many penalties, and of course the injuries.

If we locked Colon up long term I would make the deal, reluctantly though. I like Crede a whole ton, but their is nothing more important than a stud starting pitcher, imo.

Supposedly he can be had for pretty much nothing. He's a pretty solid, 30 year old left handed pitcher with starting experience and wouldn't cost the Sox much anything price wise. How bout offering the Mariners Ginter for Halama or something along those lines. Of course, I don't know why they want to get rid of him.

I had All Star baseball, but this year I may go with something different. ASB has great graphics, while High Heat has a crazy franchise mode. Wait till the new ones come out (Thats my recommendation) cause I think they are all supposed to change a lot, adding in depth franchise modes etc. That new ea game sounds real cool.

That was a great episode. Ya, Ralph is damn good. He does some kick ass impressions. My favorite recent interview was the Anna Nicole Smith one. It makes my 25 minute drive to school every morning so enjoyable.

Insomniac with Dave Attell is a good show. I don't know many who watch it, but he's pretty damn funny.

Colvin is done. One guy I'd like to pick up if we moved Colvin would be Boulware's brother at Florida State. He's a bit undersized, but growing and is the top cover linebacker in the country. Problem is I don't want to waste a pick on him, unless we pick up an extra first by dealing Colvin. Price is giong to be a free agent, and I don't think Moulds is going anywhere. Still, I'd take either of those recievers or free agent David Boston in a heart beat. The Bears need a qb, reciever, safety, and reciever if they are going to get better. Others I'd like are rb, lb(I could live with our current crop minus Colvin or with Colvin, I just think he's over-rated and would like to get a good cover linebacker here). Of course, a good corner would also be sweet.

You guys know what night show will kick some serious ass. It will be the one that starts the night of the Super Bowl. Thats right, I'm talking about Jimmy Kimmel's new show on ABC or something like that. Kimmel is freakin hillarious. For those of you who don't know him, he's on the man show, but he also did Sports on Kevin and Bean (Popular Morning Radio Talk Show in the Socal Area). He also does the show Crank Yankers.

That was a pretty solid show. I only watched it a couple times, but It was interesting.

The only really older guy I can think of to come out of nowhere was Paul LoDuca of the Dodgers.. I know their are some others, like Ricky Botallico who came out of a beer league or something like that.

That would be a sweet pickup, if he came for like 500k. I know, we don't really need help in the pen, but man, if we are going to go with our current 5 man rotation, then we might as well have as many good arms as we can down their. Flash, Osuna, Marte, Koch, Glover, Wunsch would be damn good and very deep.

Their are quite a few guys on that list that I'd rather have over Suppan. Namely, Rogers, Daal, Valdes, etc..

I'm still so confused as to whether we can have Ritchie back before May. I heard a couple times we could have him back, and then other times I've heard we can't get him to May.

This team could win a whole lot, or they could just fall right around what they were the past two seasons. I don't see them doing worse then that though, because this years team is better then last years and the year befores team. We are a more solid team all the way around. Better defensive players, such as Jimenez at 2nd over Ray, Crede at 3rd, Olivo behind the plate, an improved Carlos, etc. We also have more experienced pitching. The staff is basically the same, but more mature, plus Jon Rauch, and the bullpen is very deep.

I'm with you on that one.

I remember many were blowing Crede off when he started off so slow. Now Crede has yet to make it for real, but he was damn impressive last season and showed he had a real live bat. I'm excited to see what he does in his first full season. But we all got to remember, prospects take time to develop, you don't become a superstar overnight.

His first year he hit very well, showing power, rbi's and a good avg (.280 something if I recall). Last year he wasn't as good, but he was also working on his swing a lot more and still has a long ways to go. Once he's ready though, he'll be damn good. The stupidest thing the Sox could do is throw this guy to the majors right now and make him work on his swing in the majors. Give this guy one more season, thats all he needs and he'll be ready to play (I'm not talking instant sucess, but he'll have some huge games)
