This is solid. Shows you how bad Leury for multiple years was. Good defense and range with shift going away. Cheap cost and if Romy or others beat him out he is a good defensive vet off bench. Still - this should have been as a bench move or after they upgraded elsewhere.

I just hope somehow the Bulls stumble into blind luck - miss the playoffs - win the lottery, next thing you know Lonzo's knee is magically better and he has no more injuries the rest of his long and daunted career. Than just figure out what you want to do with Vuc, Lavine, and Derozan at that point. Somehow win the lotto!!!

I think he was basically saying - if he told us we wouldn't have signed him, so yeah - I get why he didn't tell us - cause he was selfish. He said that without directly saying that.

I read something the other day that basically said Pat and Ayo are by far the two worse players on the Bulls by advanced statistics and two of the worse starters in entire league at their respective positions. Giving that many minutes to guys with negative win shares is not a recipe for success.

Its a soft reset - get the picks; do the same for Vuc. Than you keep Derozan (cause no way can they pull off all 3) and either dangle Derozan in the off-season or have him as your vet as part of a retool and use your picks you acquired to try again. If they traded all 3 - I think they could probably get 5 to 6 FRP (ideally all unprotected) and than a few pick swaps and if you take on salary / other things, probably more than that quite frankly. I could see Derozan getting you 2, Vuc 1, and Lavine 3 (and other than Lavine - I could see Derozan being more than 2 (maybe 2 unprotected one top 4 protected) and Vuc could be 1 unprotected and another top whatever protection. Add in Caruso or someone else and you could get a ton of picks. Whether you ever use those picks to draft or those are just new assets for whatever they do next (while having a completely different cap position).

I actually don't blame them - make the deal and you can trade DD later, but if you can get maximum lift now for Lavine just do it. I'd also do the rest - but I can appreciate if they want to wait a bit more there. I would probably move at least Vuc if I moved Lavine.

I still go back to - as much as I don't like this team - with a quality point guard, they are actually pretty decent with some upside (Williams arrow has been improving - slower than I would have liked but 2 months ago I thought he was trending towards mediocre bench player - now he's consistently putting up some better games and White has been very good in his role (but will probably get overpaid in the off-season). With that said - trade Derozan and see if you can get a few unprotected picks and be in a position to retool and see if you can get an unprotected for Vuc. But they won't do that - so if you go with a Westbrook (worse case you drop him a few weeks later) or try to swing for a PG - I can live with that.

Bulls are totally going to pick up Crowder and Westbrook. With that said - I am curious what Nets strategy is. Bridges is a really good player. Nets did great getting value for KD.

Doing nothing is worse. They need a point guard and need to do some stuff different. Kyrie is crazy but if you somehow moved Derozan for him they would be a much different team from a spacing perspective and ball handling etc.

I kind of agree - seems odd for Jason to be out in the media at this point after everything is done. But whole thing was kind of odd. Either way - in terms of dysfunction - this is the least of the Sox problems (unfortunately).

Never played the game - but so far very much enjoy the show. The first episode was stellar but very curious to see how it continues but enjoying it a lot. My wife is too and she usually is not into this type of show.

This will come off as wrong - cause I am not implying this is a Lonzo thing. But part of me wonders - does he just need to push himself to the next level and next thing you know some scar tissue will move or he is just going to have to deal with this. Easy for me to say and I am sure there is nothing scientifically accurate about any of it.
