I still think the Sox should move there relievers and go at this with a chunk of youth. I want Dotel and Linebrinks contracts off the books (more so Liney's since his has another year on it and Dotel, well he's gone at the end of the year and has been very very valuable).

I can't blame Ozzie. 4 run lead and you should be able to put anyone out there to get the job done. It's on Liney, not Ozzie.

Holmberg's velocity climbed quite a bit towards the end of the high school season. I believe he was hitting the 90-93 MPH range.

Interesting. I wonder if he stays in the rotation or is moved to the bullpen which is where I think he'll eventually be at the major league level.

He is in extended spring training and will probably be in Great Falls, but those rosters have not yet been released.

Figure this listing would be nice for people who are from the site and visiting Chicago or for those that live in the city and check out a different place.

Apparently its a massive mess and the Dash are only averaging 456 fans a game. They also layed off a ton of employees who had been hired in anticipation of the new stadium. I guess this is why they were going to stop doing radio broadcasts of all road games.

I think Phelgey is going to get the bulk of the at bats. There is a huge difference between a 2nd round pick and an 8th round pick. Phegley also has a very ready bat. I guess it depends on what the club thinks of Dubler. There isn't any harm to having him work with the high school pitchers in Bristol or being in Great Falls as a backup for a short time until Phegley moves up to Kanny. However, since Dubler, an 8th round pick out of college, didn't end up playing in Kanny at all this season, I'd say the Sox aren't that high on him or he's out with some sort of injury none of us are aware of. It isn't a good sign if a college player repeats short season, unless it is because of an injury.
