Darcy IS playing in this league. They get $10k per game. But, they are supposed to donate quite a bit to charity. He's on the "Detroit" roster.

WHY DOESN'T ANYONE HAVE ANY F###ING COMMON SENSE AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT? The same s*** for months... that I have been saying for months, just blew up. :fyou :fyou :fyou I really need to get out of here for my sanity. Anyone need a CPA (certified pain in the ass)... (the above was not a solicitation for business, as that is against every ethical and promotional and advertising standard known to man according to the Texas Board of Accountancy and national AICPA bylaws)

Two paralympians test positive for roids

Izzy, you have to get a nomination for that one. -
Thank you, for the clarification, that would help explain some things. Bush and Kerry are out of the same mold. They really are. They are both hypcritical, lying scumbags, and depending on your point of view, one or the other lies more. That's it in a nutshell. Running for president of the USA nowadays means the good candidates will never run because of the anal search the media (whether conservative or liberal) give you. I wish there were a serious third party that could make their way, but these two parties have more money then anything so they stranglehold the power.

:headshake That's just sad. -
So who are you voting for? It better not be either Kerry OR Bush or IMO you're just as stupid. They both stand for the same thing.
-
Hmmm. Just in time for the elections. Are gas prices a little too high for comfort, Georgey??????????? :puke

Grubbs - those get burnt up in the Texas sun, so we don't have any of those. Just fire ants. Those bastards suck ass.

Bermuda grass. They tell us to have all of it planted by the end of Sept. 30 because otherwise the roots can't take hold good enough before a potential frost, the earliest would be Nov 15thish and that would be really early.

When the storm hit land, it broke in two pieces, one went north and the other went south and then east and then back west.

We have (since we closed) grass in the front yard but not the back. I need to get some down. Hell, ideally I should do it before we get all this rain. But $$ is an issue - it costs a lot to sod an entire backyard, even on a postage stamp lot.
-
Yea, we are supposed to get some rain from Ivan. Isn't that nice? I don't have to water my grass then. We have had two days of rain for the past two months.
-
But don't they love us over there, or do they hate us? Depends on whether you ask Rush or John Kerry, eh?
-
It sure would be nice, in spite of the cold ass weather, to be there (see my Grrrrrrr. thread in SLaP). I should know more tomorrow...
-
My concern about this can be measured in micro-give-a-s***s.

The problem is, EVERY SINGLE PERSON at this company loses, except the CEO. It's all an ego-trip. That's the sad thing. This company is in the medical field and could be making a whole lot more then it is, but creativity and real management is thwarted by one person here. It's sick.

Dude, there is a whole thread on this in palehose...
-
I need to call anyway - I'll call one or both of them tonight.

I know the initial article that tsn.ca had was incorrect. I just looked at the rosters on espn.com and his name was not listed. They were working a contract over in Germany, and actually I have not talked to either Darcy or his agent in about a week. I can have an answer in about 5 minutes, but I'm pretty busy right now (busy enough that I'm here, right)??
